Does this mod lower quality of anything about like 10 feet away? Ever since I installed mods it feels like my (I don't know what else to call this) render distance has significantly decreased. For example Henry in the inventory now looks blurry on the edges and so do the words, and anyone 10-ish feet away turn to garbled blobs of what they once were. And small details like the weights in the millers flour sack disappeared in the cutscene when henry turned around.
Hey mate, would you look into an issue I have? Your autoexec seems to no longer have effect after I stupidly tested out this one instead: /mods/1252. It was not good, but after deleting it, resetting and putting yours back in, the changes don't work, I'm still as lower FPS as if the game was running by default without your autoexec file.
Nevermind, I needed to reset my PC as well, not just my game and enabling your file. Works as intended, FPS gain is noticeable. Would delete the comment if I could, but this edit will have to do.
I like how the guy with the 4090 said it did nothing... yeah bro this isn't really meant for you and if you're having frame issues it's a CPU bottle neck. either you can turn off CPU intensive settings or deal with it because this is a very CPU heavy game because of the simulation. But ill add that 60-100 frames would be the worst you would be looking at which is perfectly playable. 10/10 rage bate 4090 man i have a 4070 and get 120-200 frames throughout the game on ultra without the mod lmao.
After applying mod FPS - 54most of the time (41 in the first town of Troskowitz ) i then used optiscialer from github in combination with this mod and im now getting 70fps in the first town of Troskowitz
after that i used the nvidia app filters sharpen and sharpen+ to get a final result of stable 70fps on my potato hardware Final result below
(note : if you change graphics settings ingame after applying this mod then your fps will drop again , you then need to repast the mod) @VANIILAcoffee also when ever i fast travel or a cutscene plays then the mod resets to default and i lose 30fps .any idea how to fix that? UPDATE:[KCD2] Memory Leak Confirmed (If you notice fps drops after a little time do this) Go to your local game files and find system.cfg and open it with notepad or your preferred text editor. Navigate near the bottom 'till you find this line: sys_streaming_memory_budget = "VRAM NUMBER" Change VRAM to match your GPU's memory. For example, if you have a 16GB GPU, set it to 16050, then save and close. Here’s a quick reference for VRAM values:
its not my mod but i believe you must close the game and then delete the mod file , then relaunch the game and set your graphics to a higher preset .after that it should be reset
could you share your magic? i did what you said. i put the optiscaler where they're supposed to be, but it keeps crashing my game after loading a save. anyway this mod had nothing to do with any crashes i think.
did you run the optiscaler installer ?after posting the files ? launch the game and press "insert" key it will have dlss and fsr3.1 options there with frame generation.

Now with the same settings I am getting 20 fps.
I suspect the mod is not longer working properly.
So I am politely requesting whoever has the technical knowledge, could you investigate what is happening?
