Update on the situation: Sent my computer to be checked, and it was determined that it will cost more to fix than it's worth.
This means that I will have to get a new one. I don't know when that will be, as my financial situation has gotten pretty grim over the last five years. It's a struggle to even afford food nowadays, which needless to say has contributed to my mental decline 😅
It may take a while to get another computer that's good enough to continue playing and modding games. I will also have to salvage my drive from the old one, since it has all of my data regarding my mod projects.
This unfortunately means my mods will be on hiatus for much longer than anticipated. I'm very sorry to everyone that has been kept waiting all this time. I never anticipated that my PC would just quit on me altogether out of nowhere.
Modding games is my passion, and what has transpired over the last few months is nothing short of devastating. I plan to return someday, but I just don't know when that will be. I'm very sorry to have let everyone down.
Make sure to check for conflicting mods, as this mod does change a lot. Also download "KH3-Modloader" and "Improved Movement" if you experience crashes on Load.
Update: As of version 1.1, it should no longer require the above mentioned mods in order to work. Should solve the "Missing Dependency Request" errors. Very sorry to anyone who was unable to play it before.

On discord they say this mod is dead and that the author just trolls everyone by saying that the project is still being worked on, I hope It's not true because it would be a shame to let such a wonderful project die.
The project isn't dead, nor are my other ones. Unless I specifically say it's dead or canceled, it's safe to assume the mod is still being worked on. In fact, if anyone except for ME says the mod is dead, then they are trolls themselves.
I've been silent about it for quite some time due to mental health issues and such, and my computer itself stopped working a while back. Bills, Rent, Groceries and such take precedence over the repairs, so I'm still working to find a way to fix it while keeping everything that's on it. That includes all of my projects. The mod isn't cancelled or dead, but it IS on hold until I get my computer fixed.
As for the mod itself, it has seen a lot of improvements since it was last updated. Yozora is a lot smoother to control. I'm working on new mechanics such as Yozora's item/life steal attack, etc. and I'm going to see about adding Yozora's entire Desperation Move into the formchange to some degree as soon as I'm able. Hopefully I'll be able to get my computer fixed soon. Once that happens, I can get back into the swing of modding and FINALLY get this project moving again.
I hope this cleared up some confusion and dispelled any "the project is dead" rumors being spread by people who don't know anything about it.
I have downloaded this mod as well as the modloader and ImprovedMovement, I unzip all the files and put them in the ~mods folder and yet it still crash before going to the menu screen...
i dont know why but the UI doesnt change when i play as Yozora, i dont see the manatech tab and i still have the same spells that i would have as normal sora with the exclusion that animation wise itll do the laser ability
take all the time you need cant wait for the next update man i just downloaded it yesterday in wow i wasnt dissapointed the new menu screen got my hyped the yozora gameplay etc is just fantastic i notice when sora cutscenes come on yozora shrinks to sora size in ngl it hilarious but above all this is a good mod take as much time as needed cant wait for your next update man

Honestly, I'm glad to be wrong about the the mod possibly being cancelled, because this mod is so cool, and I can't wait to see what's in store for the future of it!
I dont know how but it messed up my game permanently that I lost EVERYTHING, I lost all of my saved progress, all of my 9 files I had saved of different points or different new games +s are all gone. I had to close my game while playing because I had to go take care of something at home, and I couldnt leave the game running since I'm on a gaming laptop, and games like Kingdom Hearts drains my laptops battery, even when its plugged in, and when I come back to play it, it said there was a corrupt and everything got deleted.
I really like this mod! When can we expect an update or news regarding future updates? Also is it possible to have Yozora as a party member in the future?

Or is it because I use the Steam version ?
