Does this mod work like it is meant to? I have downloaded through vortex and load up the game, but only see the specific class feats available. Unless I am missing something or read incorrectly for the description. I do have Content Pack and the no restriction cross class skills mod in as well.
This is a great mod overall, but the bug with attacks missing from character creation takes all the wind out of the sails. I think I've found a decent solution, however. I added this guide to the Bugs section, but feel it could do some good here as well.
2. Launch KOTOR TOOL and select Tools > Open 2DA file editor (or press CTRL+2)
3. In the 2DA editor select Tools > Load 2DA v2.b file (or press CTRL+O)
4. Navigate to your Override directory for KOTOR and choose "feat.2da" that was added from Feats and Skills Unchained (obviously this means having it installed). Make a backup of this file if you didn't keep the mod archive.
5. Fix Soldier feats: Locate row labeled Power Attack and move your cursor right (using arrow keys to be safe) until you reach the column labeled sol_list. Change the value in this field to "1". Immediately below this is Power Blast, which also needs to be changed to "1".
6. Fix Scout Feats: Locate row labeled Flurry and move your cursor right until you reach the column labeled sct_list and change the value of this field to "1". Locate row labeled Rapid Shot and move your cursor right until you reach the column labeled sct_list and change the value of this field to "1". 7. Fix Scoundrel Feats: Locate row labeled Sniper Shot and move your cursor right until you reach the column labeled scd_list and change the value to "1".
8. Select File > Save as 2DA v2.b and name the file "feat.2da". Move this file into your Override directory for KOTOR and replace the existing file.
Disclaimer: I have not done extensive playtesting to see if there is a reason the Author decided to set these to "3". Maybe that allows them to be automatically acquired at a certain level, as other auto-acquire feats seem to have "3" as their value? I can attest that these changes will allow the various attacks to be chosen during character creation, however. Happy gaming!
So, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news. But the classes's sarting offensive feats are all missing when I build my character. I think that might be because of the method you used to un-select them. I don't know. Love hte mod otherwise but this is a pain.
how do i fix the flurry feat not showing up? i like the features of this mod letting you pick your own starting feats and makeing all skills class skills but i dont want to lose flurry is there some way to fix this or get around it so u still have the skills and ability to pick starting feats?
I was able to select the Flurry feat at character creation. The only thing I did differently when installing this mod was that I also added K1TemplateTags.bfd to the Override folder. However, my game would freeze and then CTD while confirming my skill increases during the first level up as a Jedi Guardian. I had to remove this mod, level up, and then reinstall this mod to prevent the CTD.
Can you Please update this mod by adding Power Attack and Power Blast feats in the character generation.PLEASE Could you also add the feature of saving feats.PLEASE. Thank you in advance.
