    Magnificent work! I had a look at the numerous fixes scattered around including that on the pcgamingwiki page and they all looked incredibly long-winded and tedious. Thankfully this simple to install fix does the job perfectly!

    FYI for those who encounter the game off-center and spread across other screens, change your scaling to 100% in Display Settings.
    Once I figured this out the mod worked flawlessly.

      Strange. Are you sure you installed the mod correctly? Or have other mods active?
      It's been a while since I played KOTOR (on ultrawide).

    Hi! I am using the steam version. I placed the proper files into the override folder as well as replaced the .exe file. When I go into the .ini file I do not see any options for changing the height/width.
    Is there anything I can do to fix this?
    Thank you so much in advance!

      It's possible that you have to launch the game once so the .ini file gets completed.
      Normally you can find it under [Graphics Options].
      You could also try deleting the ini (after backup ofcourse), then launch the game and hope it creates a new ini.

      you can just add these lines under [Graphics options} if they are not there:

      Height=1440
      Width=3440

    This works pretty damn well, only problem for me is that for some reason, the first conversation in each area (after a loading screen), the bottom black bar and subtitles don't appear. This isn't a problem if the first thing I talk to in a zone speaks English, but if it's alien speak, I miss out on that first line of dialogue unless I immediately get a dialogue choice (which shows the last line of dialogue). Any ideas?

      That's indeed an issue. I don't know what causes it, or how to solve it. Luckily that rarely happens.

    So when I follow your instructions, I cannot see the UI onscreen.  I can use keyboard commands to bring up the journal, equipment, options, etc screens, but those don't show on the main game screen.  I have switched the display settings in windows as others recommended, but that did not seem to help.  Any suggestions?

      Remember, this mod does not work with 2560x1080 but only 3440x1440.
      other than that, I don't know... Do you have any other mods installed?

    works great thanks! Been trying to get this game to work in 21:9 for so many years and never had any luck until I tried this mod! Flawless widescreen never worked for me in kotor, but this did!

      Sadly no. You would have to hex-edit the .exe file again and redo the ui files. Basically start from 0.
      Did this a while back, don't remember how exactly I did it. But you could look at the method at widescreen forum and follow the steps there. That's how I did it.

      Edit: since this is a very old game, you could try and play it at 3440x1440 and downscale it to 2560x1080?
