Great mod. For everyone who have issues, just delete all UI and Menu mods you previously used, except KotOR High Resolution Menus 1.5 and K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix 1.2. Just follow instructions ArtexJay wrote.
Hello! I was hoping to use this with Kexikus's Canon Galaxy Maps mod, but I was unable to get a resolution to work alongside this mod. Do you have a potential resolution for the mod's HR patch or do you think a compatibility patch may one day be possible?
Apparently installation instructions are overrated these days...either that or author of this mod never heard of such a thing at all! LOL ...This is especially actual considering there are not one, but two versions of this mod and nobody other than author himself knows how each versions is different from another! The only thing i get from this is that earlier version is supposed to be more compatible with ugh...something?! LOL It would be at least good to know with what exactly and why should we get earlier one over later you know! LOL Until i get all the answers i want i'm not wasting my time downloading this...i have no time for "trial and error" ways of finding out what each mod does! Besides it's a good chance i can mess my game up this way too without knowing exactly what i'm doing...so please waste a couple of minute of your precious time and give proper explanations?! Not that hard to do...
Apparently searching online is overrated these days. Took me 3mins to search online to find instructions on gaming in 1080p for kotor.
1. If you're running retail/GOG disregard this step. If you are running steam go find (search online DeadlyStream is your friend here) for Editable Executable and replace your exe with that one.
2. Download Uniws (Universal Widescreen Patcher) and patch your executable file, be sure to pick Kotor 1024x760 (Had trouble with the other resolutions), and change at the bottom the resolution to your desired one in my case it was 1920 x 1080. You need to edit the swkotor.ini file in the swkotor directory. Change the Width/Height to the correct 1920 x 1080. If you don't the game won't be visible.
3. Download Ndix KotOR High Resolution Menus 1.5 for 1080p - https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1159-kotor-high-resolution-menus/, copy and paste your executable in the folder you downloaded/extracted and run Hires Patcher on the exe, in my case setting it to 1080p. Find the resolution you want among the folders and paste it's contents into the override folder. Be sure to copy your patched file back into the game directory. (Not the .bak.exe)
4. Download DarthParametric's Main Menu Widesceen fix 1.1 https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1173-k1-main-menu-widescreen-fix/ and paste in the override folder
5. Download this mod, and paste the contents into the override folder. You can download the other mods the creator listed on his page as well if you want to have a fulfilling experience.
People like Chupacabra don't know how to search for answers online apparently. Here are the steps if you want to play at a higher resolution like 1080p

2.1. Forgot to add that you need to edit the swkotor.ini file in the swkotor directory. Change the Width/Height to the correct 1920 x 1080. If you don't the game won't be visible.

The hell is TPC? This game ain't big enough to have so many weird abbreviated things. I never know how many abbreviated add-ons I'm using. Iz just confusing.

What's worse, I wasn't careful enough to save before it replaces certain files.
