No problem. Getting it to work in 4k was a real headache and I thought it was ridiculous that no one had shared something like this to make it easier for everyone else. I was happy to do the work so no one else will have to go through the headache.
Great job. Was this done using UniWS or FlawlessWidesceen? I've heard UniWS is more secure and was wondering because sometimes my desktop shows some strange behavior when Alt Tab. Any solution for this?
Also some slight mouse misalignments are present but I think that's something common to everybody and no real way around it yet.
It'd be great to add to the description about setting the executable to Service Pack 3 compatibility and scaling done by app because otherwise the movies are displayed on a corner.
Thanks for this, really appreciated. But I echo what a few have said, my mouse seems out of alignment by about an inch beneath on certain menus, such that I have to click below what I'm trying to select. I have both the requisite mods files installed into my override folder.
Installed the community mod, the two required mods for this and then your 4k mod. The options menus don't line up with the mouse. Using a 3080ti connected to a 4k tv via hdmi.
The ONLY possible solution in whole internet with clickable hud and native true 4k. Thank you so much man. Let me know where i can donate you. This is one of very few of my favorite childhood games.
Thanks for this mod. I ended up having to roll back to the back up because the menu selection no longer matched up with my cursor location. The main menu was clickable, but options and new game are no longer reachable with the cursor.
Do you have any idea what I've done wrong in my modded kotor?
Quick question: is your exe already patched by UNIWS patcher for the 4K resolution?
There is guide by JackInTheBox "HD MENUS AND UI Assets 1.0" which tells that exe should first be patched by UNIWS and then there should be second patch from ndix UR guide. If i understand you correctly you helped everyone avoid the hassle with the second patch from ndix UR guide. But what about the UNIWS?
The problem is as following: uniws does not sees your exe. when i launch your exe the clickable GUI in the game is a little off, and i was wondering if it's because of possibility that your exe is not patched by uniws?
