The original version of the mod released 14 years ago today on KotORFiles. I was originally angry about the unvoiced dialogue present in the existing Padawan mods, and set out to fix that. It was incredibly different from what exists today, but I am eternally grateful that I started working on it.
I've released a new major update, which reworks the mod substantially. It replaces Tutorial Remover as well, as you now have the option to not be a Jedi, so I no longer need to maintain separate mods with the same functionality. It should be much cleaner and more compatible, and uses a more modern installer, that has version for linux and mac if needed.
Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the mod over the years. I've gotten a lot of good feedback (and bad obviously), but I only really remember the good stuff. Thank you!
i'm having an issue having the first relationship conversation with Carth on taris. it says [Continuing node] and [Ending node] then says to contact a developer.
I want to say thank you for this mod. Taris is infinitely more tolerable when you play with JFTS and don't have to worry about saving your levels or wasting them.
I updated this mod after uninstalling and reinstalling KOTOR, modding in the Community Patch and the recommended restoration mod.
The mod is working fine... but my game is broken. Carth Onassi has disappeared when I try to leave our apartment, and I can't fight the Sith Patrol outside of my apartment at all. Carth isn't in any menu or anything, he is just GONE.
Hi, I installed the Jedi from the start mod using manual installation because I am not so good with tech. However the mod affected my dialogue with some of the characters
For instance, after rescuing Bastila from the Black Vulkar base, I can't progress to the next scenes due to a hindrance in the dialogue
Hello, I installed the mod and it works as it's supposed to mostly, but every time I reach a cutscene where Trask is supposed to talk (like the bridge, for example) It disables my movement controls, so now I can't get off the Endar Spire. Is there a workaround to this?
Hello, sorry if this has been asked before. Is it possible to install this mod on the ipad ios version of kotor and if not why? is it technically feasible? I love this game so much and I want to try it on the ipad but i consider this mod essential now. Thanks for your consideration.

EDIT. My bad. This is skill, not force power. Strange.
