Can someone just upload the whole modpack as a torrent, so you don't have to download and install all these yourself?

If they did, the comment would be removed. Mod permissions don't allow for compilations like that, and I would lose the support of the mod community if I permitted it. Nor indeed would I create such a pack even if it were allowed, because a cornerstone of the mod builds is modularity. My vision is not authoritative and users need to be able to choose what mods they want or don't, and they can't do that with an all-in-one-pack.

how so? they are just mods for a copyrighted game, lots of them are using copyrighted assets from the game etc... It's the game wich is copyrighted not the mods rofl, even less when they have been uploaded for the no matter what a random dude says about being credited or not letting use the mod within a modpack.

Nexus don't want mod packs because they want people to subscribe, not gonna happen in my case to use free stuff, also there are tons of scripts to download even nexus collections without waiting and full speed.

Legally Aspyr could shut down every single mod as has happened before with fan projects that didn't even were using assets from a game, for example lots of projects trying to port a game to unreal and remaster the game,  that the company always takes down effortlessly.

So if I had the feeling of uploading a modpack rhat included every single mod people also using their own websites just to point 100 mods impossible to download ynless you are autistic that btw they've been uploaded for rfee for everyone to download whenever they want so tf they gotta say about telling people what to do with those mods, if someone needs to be credited to maintain their egos, is their problem.

In fact I've got a modpack posted on Reddit for Switch version of kotor using community patch and some texture updates, most mods are unnecessary.

so if anyone is curious why droid interface is being removed further down the list with balance tweaks the only time it is used is with a droid that's added by the M4-78 enhancement mod (which is not compatible with this build) i'm not sure what exactly is used here that's not compatible with that mod but eh

Just out of curiosity when installing the ultimate HD packs you have us delete a couple files in each pack what is the reason for those not being used?

In a couple of cases it's because the texture as implemented in the Ultimate series breaks features of later content included in the mod builds--TEL_wl05.tpc is an example of that from memory, breaking reflective surfaces on the windows and also transparency on Citadel Station during the endgame sequence there. But in all other cases it's just because those particular upscales don't look good; this is AI work, after all, and while it can do a quality job sometimes, it has all the limitations of a predictive algorithm and will just as equally sometimes spit out something absolutely horrible which is totally idiosyncratic with the rest of the game's visual design. The deletions are meant to get rid of any case where the AI modified something in a detrimental way, or more than it should have (such as a major stylistic design change to a texture).

For the next Revision I will be trying a few other retexture mods and will see about mixing and matching textures more, or switching off of Ultimate entirely if the new texture sets are more appealing. But for now, limitations notwithstanding, it's still the best visual upgrade of vanilla.

Hi, I installed most of the mods in the PC Spoiler-Free build, in order and using the instructions.
I am encountering a runtime error on Telos when going to take the lift to the ravager.
I don't know if there is a solution or work around but any help would be appreciated, thanks!

This seems to happen with AMD GPUs, for reasons which I can't discern. It could be KOTOR 2's way of manifesting the current issue with AMD hardware running OpenGL games, which KOTOR & KOTOR 2 are.

The fix is simple enough--you just need to put the game into windowed until you've bypassed the sequence, then you can return to fullscreen. But I wish I knew more about the issue and why it doesn't happen for everyone running AMD.

That worked, thanks! (side note: I actually have a Nvidia graphics card)

Now that is very strange. I've not ever seen this issue manifest with an Nvidia card. Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep a close eye on the issue to see if anyone else with an Nvidia card experiences it in the future.
