Curious why you made this incompatible with the Community Patch? When everyone else recommends using it. I mean just stopped me even trying this mod now. Sorry.

The community patch has been made for the latest version of Kotor 2 (the aspyr update and its bugs army), my mod requires the legacy version of the game. And this patch is only a compilation of various mods so you can still hand pick some of them IF they are recommended for the legacy game.

Experiencing an error on starting a new game, just after the first cutscene, stating that "V_EHawk01b.tga" has an invalid bumpmap, this causes no issues as far as I've seen yet but would be nice to know what's up. Swapping out the file along with it's .txi counterpart for a pair from another texture mod stops the erroring.

Never had this issue myself. If it persists you can safely remove the 2 files. Unlike the first KOTOR 2 is sometimes a pretty capricious game to mod.

I'll attempt to put it back in later to see what happens, seeing as it's the Ebon Hawk's exterior I imagine any issue will be rather obvious. Cheers for the mod =)

I don't think you can access the Steam Workshop when playing the Legacy version (which is required by my mod).

I believe there are guides for modding games on the steam deck that dont have the workshop, arent there? if so and if all it takes is linking up the deck to your pc you can probably do it that way.

i wouldnt know caus ei dont have a steam deck myself, and theres no way ill be able to afford one in the near future

I have no coherent way to express how much I appreciate the effort you've put into modding the kotor games

    Awesome, endorsed!
Can you please make textures for Coruscant and M4-78 mods too?

It's strangely comforting to see someone out there, committing their time alone to fundamentally improving a 20 year old game that we all love.  Like a sparse honor guard of time gone by.  Cheers appreciate you.

We can't trust anymore Bioware or any western devs on making a proper respectfull KOTOR remake. So I think it's up to us players to keep these old gems alive.

Probably a dumb question for me to ask, but does this also update PC heads?

Saw this mod and reinstalled the game just to try it out, so far I love it, almost makes the game feel new again.

Hello, I'm not sure if it's a problem on my side, but a few models have transparency issues (you can somewhat see through them, as if they were ghosts or holograms).
I noticed it with both the HK-50 units and the generic Mandalorians (but not Mandalore himself).

Did I do something wrong, perhaps?

You are not playing the legacy version. Make sure to carefully follow my instructions.

Ah, I think I understand why, I probably modded it before changing the game to the legacy version on Steam. I will try again from scratch and see if I can get it fixed.

It's still doing it unfortunately, and I am absolutely sure the branch selected is the legacypc. I just started a new game and the HK-50's are still see-through.
I've read around a bit, and it mostly seems an issue of upscaling tools not working well with the textures' alpha channel. What's weird is that I only see it affecting mandalorians and HK units.

Sorry but it's a problem on your end (conflicts with mods/modified files most probably). What do you mean by "upscaling tools"? Transparent textures means the game doesn't use the correct meshes so the alpha channel is not applied correctly. It's either because the game version is wrong or it uses modified meshes (from various patches and fixes made for the Aspyr version).

I'm sorry if it's a bother, I've been trying again and after a clean install and making sure the legacypc version was selected on Steam and no workshop mods were subscribed to I've:

      - Installed TSLRCM (the DeadlyStream version)
      - Put the contents of your mod in my override folder
      - Removed the duplicate files

I had other mods in previous installations, though they weren't affecting visuals, but I've taken great care not to add them back this time around. Despite this it's still doing it with the HK-50 units (and most likely the Mandalorians too), I'm a bit at my wit's end here.

Download the following files and put them in your override folder. Let me know if it fixes your problem (and if it overrides existing ones in your game install). Edit: I misread and put files for HK47 but these files are still relevant for the mandalorians so give it a try.

Your mandos should have these glorious reflections (pics taken from my game right now):

Your files seem to have done the trick! No more transparency, and metals have reflections.

It's strange, it's as if those specific files had gone missing from your download, since they did not replace any existing ones in my override folder. Could it be that they had been left behind from the downloaded files?

Honestly I'm a bit lost about what's happening in your game. To me the legacy base game doesn't need these files to work correctly but I could be wrong. Could you check while playing if any others characters look weird/broken (easier to spot on reflective ones like droids or characters armors) and let me know (by PM so we won't flood this comment section)? I'll add the files in the update just in case. Thanks for your previous (and future) feedbacks.
