*****PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU PLAY KOTOR 2 ON MOBILE (including iOS and Android versions)*****
Since the iOS and Android versions of KotOR 2 have been released, I have received questions from multiple people about using my KotOR 2 mods on mobile, so I need to make a sticky post about this.
I cannot help with modding KotOR 2 on mobile, because I do not own any mobile versions of KotOR 2. I make no promises that I will make a mobile version for any of my KotOR mods either.
Some of my KotOR 2 mods has files that require TSLPatcher to install to make the mod work properly, especially if you also want to use other mods in addition to TSLRCM and my mods. Simply copying and pasting files from my mod to your game's directory does NOT guarantee my mod will work as intended, and you may encounter bugs that could possibly game-breaking.
You are able to install the mobile version of TSLRCM by manually copying and pasting the files because TSLRCM does not require any other mod to function, while some of my KotOR 2 mods require TSLRCM to work (and since TSLRCM is an essential mod for KotOR 2, there is no point in making a version of those mods that does not require TSLRCM).
You may try to find a way to install my mod without TSLPatcher if you are willing to take the risk, but I will not provide support if you encounter issues with using my mod with any mobile version of KotOR 2, because again, I do not own any mobile version of KotOR 2.
Seems a little OP to me 15 points of universal damage soak especially....unfortunately i only found that out after installing and i have no idea how to uninstall TSL patched mods short of completely nuking the override.....is there any way to surgically remove this mod, sorry its not for me ....I mean their clothings are better than most of the endgame armor :p.....Improved? I'd say *Epic Raid Gear Clothing* :P......Not a huge deal i can just stash the outfits and not use them the only problem is with that it overwrites the old default outfits and their subtler stats.
EDIT- Found the readme uninstall instructions thanks although i now have the same problem as Xanatos32 below....nice idea if you ever make a toned down version i'll be all over it, endorsed just for the idea
I make no promises that I will make a toned down version of the stats of this mod. Honestly, I play KotOR games for the story and characters and I don't play the KotOR games for the combat. I made this mod so the party members' clothings can be used throughout the entire game, including the endgame regardless of how you build those party members' stats. KotOR 2 has multiple sequences where you can only control the party members and the player character isn't around, especially if you have The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod installed, which can be very difficult if you don't build the party members properly. I also made this mod for players who care more about the characters and story than gameplay and combat.
If gameplay balance is more important to you and you find the stats from my mods OP, simply don't install and use my mod and you could just stick to using vanilla robes and armors.
You should read through the information on a mod's page and check out the screenshots before you decide if you want to use a mod. The stats of the outfits of my mod are already in the screenshots, and unisntallation instruction are already in the mod's page, so you won't ask questions that are already answered in the mod's page, saving both yourself and the mod author time.
As for you having the same problem as Xanatos22, are you using the Steam Workshop version of TSLRCM? Aside from my mod, are you using any other mods? Please list ALL the mods you use.
Hi! I used it through one game and then uninstalled it as per the instructions to start a new game and as soon as I find Atton, the inventory icon on Atton's Ribbed Jacket is gone, just a white square. I am using the Steam version and I tried reinstalling the game and it didn't solve it...
I've checked out Visas Unmasked, and it should be compatible with my mod. While both Visas Unmasked and my mod modify the p_visas.utc file, Visas Unmasked doesn't modify Visas' armor slot like my mod does, so you should be able to install both mods together without issues.
As I already mentioned in my mod description, the idea of this mod was inspired by jonathan7's Party Clothing mod for KotOR 1. So if you want a similar mod for KotOR 1, I suggest you look for the Party Clothing mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/392
EDIT: Link to the mod on GameFront: https://www.gamefront.com/games/knights-of-the-old-republic/file/party-clothing
What's the name of the Handmaiden's default outfit mod? If you want me to 100% confirm if it's compatible with my mod, please let me know the name of the mod you want to use and provide a link to the mod so I can check it out myself, since I can't know the existence of every single mod out there.
The "5) MOD COMPATIBILITY" section on the description of my mod has already stated:
"This mod should be compatible with any reskin mods for the party member's default outfits, as long as they don't edit the abovementioned .utc files of the party members."
(The .utc files in question are p_atton.utc, p_baodur.utc, p_disciple.utc, p_handmaiden.utc, p_kreia.utc, p_mand.utc, p_mira.utc, p_visas.utc.)
As long as the mod you want to use does not modify any of the .utc files of the party members, it should be compatible with my mod.
Thanks so much for this!! I always had to play with default clothes because I liked them but then had no bonuses. This is cool! I hope at some point you can make a similar mod for the base Jedi classes for the Exile (you would get the clothes on Telos like normal). Unless there is a mod for that already but I cannot find one. Please?
One minor thing but no idea how much you can do about it. The clothes all look like the Jedi Guardian default ones when upgrading any of them on the workbench. No big deal though.
Thanks for liking my mod. Unfortunately, I have no interest in making a similar mod for the Exile's Jedi classes like you requested. You may try requesting such mod to be made by posting on the Mod Request section of the Deadly Stream forums:
You may also want to check out these mods for the Exile's default clothes as well:
- Fully Upgradeable Clothes: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/1018-fully-upgradeable-clothes-by-smuggleralex/ - Class Clothes Fix: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/655-class-clothes-fix/
As for the clothes all looking like the Jedi Guardian default ones when upgrading any of them on the workbench, unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it. I can't find any way to change them.
Sure! No problem! I am glad you made this mod just the same!
Thanks for the links! I have the fix but I had no idea about the first one and that just might be enough for now. Once I try out that mod, I will think about asking on the forum or look into it myself. There should be plenty of resources
IDK if anyone else had this problem, or if it's me possibly having an incompatible mod installed, but Atton had a floating head effect going on after installing this. I fixed it by duplicating my existing P_AttonBA.tga file and renaming it to P_AttonBA202.tga Just thought I'd let you know!
Can't say for sure because I never use that mod. I look at the files from that mod and it does not change the same files my mod does, so if you want to, you may try experiment if it is compatible with my mod or not.
Personally I have no interest in using Kreia's Assorted Robes, so if my mod is not compatible with it, I can't promise I will make my mod compatible with that mod either.

Please give me a full list of all the other you installed.
I have tested my mod on my game and I never encountered such problem. No one else has reported having this problem either.

Edit: It is compatible.
