Thank for this mod! Is there a way we can use it for simply retrieving the location of an item accidently dropped somewhere?
I was fighting a frog in Keelbreach bog. The frog took my Zarchton Harpoon. Because the harpoon was equipped in the secondary hands, I did not notice immediately the lost of it...:( It is hard to manually search Keelbreach bog beause of the mist and poor light .....
I am trying to change the portrait/model of a helmet, in order to get the full armor set bonus while having a cooler looking skull helmet for my barbarian.
Is this possible?
I did test and managed to change the helms description, but when I change copy the assets/models/items/skull_helmet.fbx Into my preferred helmet value/field in the save game editor and load into the save, the portrait/model of the helmet remains unchanged.
When I "save as" my edited save, add it to the LoG2 savegame file and I try to load it into the game, it does not appear. I can't figure why. Any ideas ?
Hello ! You have to give your file a similar name as other save files, and put it in the same directory as others. Look at your save files, they should have numbers in their name, try to use the next number after your last save file to see it in the load menu. If you still have trouble, I suggest loading your save file in game and save it to a new file to duplicate it, then use this new file name and overwrite it with the tool. This way your old duplicated save file will be safe :)
Trying to understand the editor and can't seem to figure out how to add more amount of food? I know where Item is but don't see any value to increase the amount. Also playing with Randomizer mod here which is pretty mean with food because I don't seem to get enough food for more exploration.
edit: Found it till last. Just look more around the Item you want to change and find one text which says "Count", then change the Value below it. In my case my meat doesn't show amount but still works.
can you actually change the difficulty with this tool? it just seems to jump through cycle through an enourmous list of items and entities when i click it.
Yes you can. But not in "OPTS" the difficulty field in there just reads the value from the fifth field in "STAB" where you just have to replace the existing difficulty with whatever you want. I changed a savefile from normal to hard, it loaded no problem.
How do you change a character's class or race? When I click on one of those variables, it keeps running me through random things such as health, regen rate, etc. I don't want to change my lizardman into a sudden "health" :S
Hi, just want to say thanks for creating this tool, very useful. I'm just getting to grips with how it works, I know how to add skill points so apologies for a noob question but which bit do I click on to remove skill points (from skill points already assigned in game) if possible? Not that it's important anyway.
Hi, sorry for the late reply! You can find the skills in the section: CHAR > CHAM, after the STAT list, and before the TRAI list if I remember. You can change their values there (0 to 5).

Am I doing this wrong or is it just not possible?
Thanks!

Would you be able to throw a quick how-to on how to cleanup a save for imported characters?
