<3 Hope you enjoy using this Reshade preset! <3
I think it's kinda clear that doing this is a side-side hobby of mine, hence the slow to no updates in recent months, It's been a year since I mentioned working on 1.0 (not that anyone cares tbh), I discovered, learned more techniques and nice shaders, so instead of a simple update, 1.0 will be a complete overhaul of two parts:
- Simple Color Grading Preset, so the game will looks just like the screenshots (colorwise) without the need of lighting shaders
- Fancy Shmanzy Preset, this will be the full deal, this time consolidated to a single preset, all shader tunings will remain but it's up to the user to download and enable them.
I have also learned how to do UI masks, so that Reshade effects will no longer affect in-game UI, although it will take me more time to properly set it up to work well with the variety of menus, if at all. After playing TotK, I realized how much more I enjoyed modded BotW which made me return and check the modding community as well as Second Wind.
So what's the ETA for the next update? Let's hope sometime
mid-January2025, and I may even release a preset for Valheim while I'm at it around the same time period. DON'T hold on to your butts, this is just a Reshade preset.EDIT: If you choose to overwrite and update shader effects during Reshade installation, the AO will less likely bleed into the UI!
The bundled PPFX SSDO shader is obsolete which is what has been causing the AO bleed, updating it will get it fixed (I think)
One other reason for this is to have these visuals be compatible with emulated TotK, but currently my project in its current form causes frequent crashing in the game.
by the way the strip shadow on the snow on the wall looks little weird
