    If you have the game legit on Steam
    1. go to big picture and launch the game
    2. press the ps button
    3. go to controller config
    4. then switch off steam input global
    5. restart game and launch it normally and you can now use ps buttons without installing a mod

      This Worked for me with my PS5 Controller, PS4 Contoller should work without the DS4 Steps.



      • Go to your Steam Library and Right-click on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
      • Press on Properties
      • Navigate to the Controller Tab


      • Select “Disable Steam Input”



      • Go to a DS4Windows Github page and download the latest version. Select either x86 (32Bit) or X64 (64bit) version
      • Select Profiles Tab and then Other Tab


      • In Virtual Controller Settings select DualShock 4 to be Emulated Controller
      • Save the Profile with any name
      • Go back to a Controllers Tab and set “Selected Profile” to be your named Profile, in my case its called “1”


      • Launch the game and enjoy Playstation Prompts instead of Xbox ones!

      when I turn off steam input the controller completely stopping to work

    Thanks for this. Any effort to fix button issues is hero stuff !  I am confused though about installation, was the first step is:

    1. Run the patcher by dragging LEGOSTARWARSSKYWALKERSAGA_DX11.exe onto TTGamesPatcher.exe

    But I don't see any TTGamesPatcher.exe in the downloaded files. 

    Any help is appreciated!

    Many thanks to the author, the game was given away in EGS recently and mod perfectly works on this version as well!

    Link to ttgames_skywalker_saga_v2.bms in README file not working anymore. New one is ttgames_skywalker_saga_v2.bms (found on TTG Games modding discord).

    Hi! Do I have to patch the DLC .DAT too? I was wondering, since I've got the Deluxe Edition, I also have .DAT files for every DLC.

    If I send the .svgs, would it be possible to make a Gamecube replacer? I'm weird and use the PowerA Switch Gamecube controller.

      I also use the gamecube controller. Hopefully it is not much work for you to create the mod files with the nintendo layout. It would be most impressive.

    there is no need for the mod because you can just plug the controller in without ds4windows and the game will show ps buttons

      not if you use steam input for custom bindings
      ...or a controller other than an official ds4
