when i installed the mod, i was on my at the end of my third playthrough (i finished it with the bad ending and kept it there). what the mod does is it removes the stargazers in the middle of the boss arenas but they don't respawn, i kept teleportin from and back to the hotel stargazer and returning to the title screen but they don't respawn. does anyone know the issue or do i need to start a new playthrogh and finish the game again?
its stated on the description page. 3rd item under "what this mod does" in the beginning.

since the game doesn't actually pause, even while in the menus. otherwise you get attacked while trying to make menu selections. that was the 1st realization during testing.
I love this mod, it works well however some of the bosses such as the white lady and the members of the black rabbit brotherhood in both boss fights (the siblings in boss fight 1 and the eldest in boss fight 2) aren't spawning at all and I don't know if this is a bug or not as the other bosses work just as well

This mod looks very interesting but I'm going to wait until most of the known problems have been solved and as I bought the game yesterday, I've got plenty of time before downloading it .
the known issues are actually due to how the game is structured and not the mod. bosses/minibosses were never meant to be revived, so those issues are the result and consequences of forcing that revival. like the elevator after the simon fight for example, since no bosses were meant to respawn, the elevator was meant to be a one way ride to the bottom, so now when you revive simon and rebattle, there would be a hole where that elevator should be. same goes for all issues listed. the mod itself is not the source of the issues.
as far as respawns, if you defeat the boss with the mod uninstalled, they no longer revive. those flags are checked upon enemy defeat, not upon rest. so if you defeat a boss then teleport somewhere or rest, it has already revived, and uninstalling the mod after that point means the boss is still alive as it has already respawned. defeat it again without the mod and it will no longer revive. just be wary that if you decide to reinstall the mod again after defeating the boss without the mod, it will now stay dead.
Thanks for the long reply, however the infomation you provided was known before I install this mod, and no, the boss wont stop repawning. ;'( I'll see how it goes after defeating next boss. And one more thing, there's no well near the respwaned boss mist, which can spawn a ghost pal to fight for you during boss fight. So I had a very tough time fighting the boss second time without the ghost pal. T_T After defeating the boss I cant rest untill next check point, otherwise the boss repawn again. So I guess this mod is only suitable for 2nd+ game.
I figured out part of the reasons, I created a new folder to save all those backup mods right inside the ~mods folder, I thought it would be ok, I guess its not, if I move the folder far away from ~mods folder then part of the problems solved. Since I defeated the last boss and going to start a new game, other problems wont be a problem anymore. ~Cheers~
Am I doing something wrong? I placed the mod at the right place & it does seem to be working considering the stargazers aren't there but bosses are not spawning.
Either you have another mod that edits NpcInfo.uasset file (like Hard Mode mod), or you simply need to rest at a stargazer/teleport to hotel and back, or go to title screen and reload. in the case of the former, you can add as many "Z's" to the front of the file name to make sure it loads last as the last mod in alphabetical order is the one that's active, or you can temporarily remove other mods that edit the same file.
I have tried removing every single mods I had but its still not working. I have verified game files thinking some files got corrupted with other mods but that didn't work either. Now I'm thinking of completely reinstalling the game. But before that I gotta ask... Does it only work when you have fully completed the game? That is all bosses killed but you didn't go to next playthrough?
quite the opposite, as the first one stated under "known issues", it works best when installed at the start of a new game or ng+ and onwards. Bosses that are already dead when you install will NOT respawn, and it is explained as to why that is. recommended to go through the description page so you are aware of what issues arise from making bosses/minibosses respawn.
I see. I guess reinstalling is my only option right now. Though I wonder what mods are even actually affecting it... The only mods I had are Berserk Guts, Romeo skin, Sephiroth dress & the boss weapon assemble mod. I removed everything but still not working. Then again I still do have those boss weapons that I made custom weapons with even after removing the mod. Are those affecting?
Amazing mode! The fact that you can get as many items as you want in the first round of the game makes you feel refreshed However, there is a disadvantage that the game becomes too easy, but this is not a disadvantage either lol
Thank you for this absolute banger of a mod, I wonder why nobody ever made this mod before (beside the one who make hard mode). I like hard mode but there's a boss with a rapier that's just hit like a f**king gatling-gun at you making it harder than any boss in-game and I have to cheat to f**k her up and the enemy attack faster pretty much making the two dragon sword quite useless. Now I just played it and now enemy are moving at slow motion, felt like god.
Oh can you help me with the Manus boss, there's a hole from the elevator there and I don't know how to get rid of it, this thing make Manus second phase dissapear into Geppetto, making it a joke , do you know how to fix this issue.
Edit: I just find a way, u need to use god mode then goes straight to nameless puppet stargazer and repair it.
Thank you so much! It's a great mod and helps me a lot. I no longer need to restart to fight bosses again. And I met some small issues (not a big proble) when using this mod: 1. Some bosses will drop collectible items, like Scrapped Watchman, Romeo, Simon Manus.These items will drop again when refight the bosses, and can not be destoryed. I don't know if this will cause problems when refight one of the bosses for too many times. 2. After defeat Simon Manus and interact with the elevator, the elevator will go down and can never go up again. So when refight Simon Manus, there will be a whole in the center of that platform, and both player and boss may drop down (when Simon turn to phrase 2, he is highly possible to drop down the elevator)
For the first Scenario of item continuously dropping, the file "iteminfo.uasset " is one of those I cannot even open up to edit. if it was editable, I could have simply made those items stack and limit the stack to only 1 and that would solve the issue. the other file that governs drops is very limited, and that one has nothing regarding checking the inventory. but still looking in to ways to be able to edit that file.
Second issue of the elevator seems to be in a perma state once you use it the first time, unlike the other elevators in game where they can be used repeatedly.
those 2 issues been plaguing me as well and the only thing I can think of regarding the elevator is to make a backup of the save BEFORE, engaging Simon. and just keep practicing with that boss without using the elevator. Plus, nameless cannot be re spawned anyway so having that save on back up helps you refight nameless if you want to make another save at the stargazer below.
