Is this mod still applicable with version 1.5 Installed it but no change in settings is possible. All are set at BEST settings and no further change The file Gamesettings.ini gets overridden once I open the game
its in description - menus are hardcoded - they will still show "best" you can change/lower any individual setting and that setting will be lowered you cannot increase over "best" in menu - you need install mod again
I don't see any downgrades. I see a upgrade in the final version! Look at the contrast, the Ambient Occlusion is much better in the final game than in the demo.
My game was crashing at the 2nd phase cutscene when the big hand comes down with an "out of video memory" error (I have an 8GB 3070) until I removed the custom .ini file. But I was also running the non-Optimized version but with AtmosphereQuality and ReflectionQuality set back to 3 (High) or else I get 50FPS instead of 100-120.
Oh thank god, wasn't just me. That fight was a pure stutter fest on my 4080 Super. It would freeze for seconds at a time. I managed to beat him at 10 FPS with it freezing constantly, but wow, yeah.
I was having performance issues with the mod and decided to uninstall it by trying to delete all of the folders associated with it. However, the game still looks and runs how it does after I initially installed it. Is there something I may have overlooked? Just need help getting it off my system
Is there a way of reverting it to the previous version/did everything scale? I previously had everything at Best under graphics quality, and maintained 144fps with 4k pretty seamlessly. But now its about 45 fps. If I lower it down to Medium or Low, do you know if that'll be on par with what I previously had as Best because of the mod? Or does the mod only affect the Best setting, and if I pick Low it'd be the same as running the default Low option in the game?
devs locked and renamed high setting to "highest" and call it "optimization" ..... mod set all to engine max, aka "Ultra" - options still displayed it as "highest" because of menu hardcoding you wanna play at "best" set it back to "best" in video options aka really "medium"
Update: It works on Steam version. I see less pop-in and less graphcial "glitches" or "pixel-problems" but compare to the much more vram needed to run it at these settings the graphcial difference isn't that big but...it works ;).
Endorsed - thanks for the tipp with the ini file tweaks!
But a little question: why u didn't put a 4 (ultra setting) on shadows and ambient occlusion in your mod? Does it have no impact? Everything else is on 4.
Found something interesting: i was having weird micro stuttering when limiting fpès from the game. But when i've set "unlimited" and put the limit from rtss, the stuttering was gone for good. So don't limit the fps from the game, it doesn't work well

Volumetric lighting downgrade?

Other than that it looks great

My question: Does this mod work with steam version yet?
BTW: Is there a way to make blood / oil stay forever on ground or pinocio? :)

Edit: I just downloaded both files, and opened them to compare. Thank you for these mods!
