I sort of figured it out. Using the secret rituals of the Polesie shamans and consulting with the leshy, I found out that if there are segments with silence in the music, then it will not be played, cutting out segments with silence through Audacity everything worked. Maybe it will help someone.
THANK YOU!! ive been looping the music all this time...24 min loops crashed the game 14 min loop is unholy loading and prolly lag my game since my pc is reeeeeeally sweet potato..this helps a lot!!
this mod is really hard to get working for some reason tried all the audacity stuff people in the comments are saying, still unable to change normal bgm.
I feel like instructions are too vague. Can sb give me step by step instruction how to install this mod properly if it's even possible? I had to reinstall whole game five times and yet the mod still breaks the whole game with "unknown" bug that as far as I know only occurs when you install whole basemod incorectly.
EDIT: I somehow figuerd it out (turns out am just dumb), guy named Patrixs said it first in the coments below BUT what you have to know is that you need to take your .wav file and just take it to audacity and save it again as .wav and it works perfectly.
The bgm does loop, it just takes a while for the bgm to start again (might have something to do with the length of the bgm?). All neutral bgms are about 4 minutes long and emergency1 is 3 minutes, emergency2 is 2:50 minutes and emergency3 is 3:50 minutes. So maybe try using audacity to extend the bgm that your using. The other possibility is that the silence will be as long as the bgm itself?
The music doesn't seem to change when I replace the audio files. The ones provided with the mod work fine, but when changed, just removes all audio from the management part of gameplay. Am I doing something wrong? EDIT: I've tried replacing the files in the OST folder when you first open the Lobotomy Corporation files, but that did nothing, so I'm pretty sure you are unable to change the music that is provided by default with this mod without erasing the music entirely.
You replacing music in "LobotomyCorp\LobotomyCorp_Data\BaseMods\BGM changer\dlls\AudioClip", right? Which audio extensions you use - as in instruction or other ones (recommended mp3 or wav) ? When you replacing music you are using certain naming given in mod, or use other naming (naming of file given by mod "LEVEL1.wav" , just example you accidentally called "level1.wav")?
I'm following the instructions, but when I do them as instructed, the music does not play. It doesn't even default to the normal music! For some reason, the music included with the mod works perfectly, but when I change it, it breaks the music. EDIT 1: One moment, let me confirm if I'm right, I haven't used it in a while, and my memory isn't great. EDIT 2: Alright, default music works. I'm going to check if changing the music breaks the music. EDIT 3: Okay, I changed the NORMAL.wav (copied name from original, so nothing should have changed) and it broke. I have yet to check the rest, but I'm going to guess that the same issue will occur. Will be checking shortly. EDIT 4: As predicted, changing all the audios broke the music completely. I'm also following the instructions for naming them, and as I have said, I copied the names from the previous files, so there shouldn't be anything breaking them...
