Same goes for me, the mods here and the one from Cheat Engine no longer work as they have been patched. I know the devs work hard to give us this content so hopefully they will have something fixed soon enough.
We ran into a problem where the extra players could not regenerate their health back. Host had the mod installed correctly. Invites of extra players were through Steam so nobody else had to download the mod. Also had a round where there was an extra pressure tank.
The game is not made for more than 8 players, this may be because the game's internal systems are not designed for a larger player capacity (although this shouldn't be a problem). This mod doesn't adapt the game's internal systems for more than 8 players, it simply tells the host to accept more connections than it should. All this to say, it's probably a bug in the game itself.
When running the game, the error code below appears and the game does not run.

All this to say, it's probably a bug in the game itself.
