Brief Description

This mod will spawn Shoal Of Fish in the rivers, allowing your villager to fish in them (Winding River map only).

* This mod can be safely removed anytime.

How To Install (option 1)
  • Go To https://www.nexusmods.com/manorlords/mods/229.
  • If you doesn't have RE-U4SS Mod Loader installed, follow the How To Install section in that page.
  • Install this mod by following the How To Install Mod section in that page.

How To Install (option 2)
  • Download RE-UE4SS and follow the installation guide.
  • Extract the downloaded Main File archive and drop the MLFishInRiverMod to the UE4SS Mods folder
  • The mod will be enabled automatically

How To Disable / re-Enable
  • to disable the mod remove or rename the empty enabled.txt File in the mod folder
  • to enable the mod again bring back the enabled.txt File again or utilize the Mod Loader file

  • If you found a bug, please do not report it to the game developer without verifying that you can reproduce the bug on vanilla game.
  • Keep in mind that the game is still in early-access.

Mod Details

*important: in vanilla, by default your region will have Fish Reserve active, disable or lower them if necessary.

*important: you might want to have dedicated fisherman hut for the river, you can restrict the work area using console command down this page

  • Shoal Of Fish along the river
    * This mod will spawn shoal of fish along the river

* Each adjacent region get 6 fishing spot per shoal
* Each shoal capacity is 64, refilled every month
* Shoal capacity is not affected by Advanced PondKeeping although the UI shows double, this mod will coerce them (subject to change)

    * (warning) The game will recover 50% of the current amount of fish per month, so this setting is an extra if you want faster recovery
  • Fish Recovery Interval In Days
    * Interval between Fish recovery, related to config number 2
  • Enable Advanced Pondkeeping development effect
    * Whether any adjacent region that has the Advanced Pondkeeping development should affect their adjacent shoal.

    * Effect is double capacity, whether the resident will fish in the river during winter will depend on the region they are from.


Console Comamnds

  • k.fishInRiver.ping
    * ping the mod, check whether it's active, it should print "pong!" to the console


  • k.fishInRiver.isInGame
    * check whether the mod is aware that you are currently in a loaded game, it will print back to the console.


  • k.fishInRiver.printModInfo
    * print the mod information to the console, it will print the mod name, mod version, and the mod author name


  • k.fishInRiver.selectedBuildingSetWorkArea
    * for currently selected building (only one), open the work area selection UI

* you can use this to set the work area (no such option in vanilla)
* note that the work area should cover the school of fish, as you would with berry bushes, not the fishing spot


  • k.fishInRiver.selectedBuildingClearWorkArea
    * for currently selected building (only one), clear the work area

* you can use this to clear the work area (no such option in vanilla)


  • k.fishInRiver.refillFishingNodes
    * refill all shoal of fish in the river


  • k.fishInRiver.clearFishingNodes
    * remove all shoal of fish in the river

* you can use this to remove those shoal of fish, if you want to remove this mod from the save game.


  • k.fishInRiver.generateFishingNodes
    * generate the shoal of fish in the river

* you can use this if the shoal of fish is not spawned for whatever reason

How To Uninstall
remove the mod Folder, also remove the mod declaration in the Mod Loader file If added previously, you might also need to do some cleanup such as removing resources manually with console commands
