Still downloading now but allow me to test this at least its already extracted no need to use F Model. Thanks, will provide my update later.

Edit: Holy whakkamolly it actually works now I'm able to use the unpack mods for Marvel Rivals. no F-Model f*cking needed bless you man.

-1st Important step, go to this specific Marvel Rivals location " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks" rename the file "pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak" into "pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak.bak"

    - 2nd step, Downloading the file
What I did is download the file and extract it then copy the Marvel folder from the extracted zip (pakchunkCharacter-Windows-1313-1-1737225137.zip) and paste the Marvel folder on this specific Marvel Rivals directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Content". Then once you paste it inside the Content folder you should see a Marvel folder, and inside the Marvel folder you can now see 2 folders the Characters and VFX folder.

    - 3rd Step
Once your done you can now download Marvel Rival character mods of your choice which are now unpacked already by most mods authors and just paste the Character files of the mod you are using on the Content\Marvel Folder which will now replace files from Characters folder.

Thank you now I'm able to use the One Piece Luffy mod on Mr. Fantastic.
Currently using the files provided it only works for mods which changes character models not UI's.

It does work but you get slower times when loading characters and it kinda messes with the disks health, since it transfers way too much files constantly instead of a single pak.

Not sure I understand what you mean by renaming the pak file, are those not the same?

it doesn't seem that way on my end, mine loads fast and I'm just using SSD Western Digital Green 1tb.

When I replace the pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak by renaming it pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak.bak, it crashes/breaks the game. I have done everything else OP has said to do.

thanks for providing this file, much more convenient than extracting it myself lol. i'm just wondering though would it be worth repacking the modded characters folder back into a single pak file, a new modded "pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak" file, and putting that back into the original location? would there be any benefit from that? doing that would mean the game has to load one bigass pak file rather than like 125k individual files. i don't know much about this or if this would even be possible but thought i'd ask just in case

Does this, for example, help when you have more than one skin for a character to switch between them without having to close the game?

Unfortunately this file just preps the files to be tampered with character-model wise. I think what you are looking for is a mod manager and even so you'd still have to close the game.

From my experiences you don't need Fmodel for UI

Can you upload the audio pak? the wwise whatever. I always got it kinda corrupted by some weird error when using FModel and it either crashed the game or was muted.

I would but the extraction with Fmodel breaks all of the audios and there will be no noise. I am currently trying to find a fix

Edit: I have successfully uploaded it so the audios aren't broken https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/1326

This allows people to use custom models and or textures for characters. I'm not sure what bricking an ssd means either.
