    Is there a way to skip the showing  mvp phase?

      Not that I know of, currently.

      I even tried to add some fake MVP files in attempt to overwrite MVPs, following a mp4 that was there, but it didnt work.

      Maybe some other modders are able to bypass them. I am not that experienced in modding. I dont have the right tools or how to make them work to find the assets / data to try things out.

      But the changes could be coded into the game, which would make any modifications, considered cheating. Not sure it is.

      If not, possibly altering uasset / uexp, could be it.

      could it be that the MVP screen is in the character files?

      I checked all files, easy with repak, no more mp4. So, If so, in the characters, it would be on the uassets / uexps.

      I dont have Windows to check, as I play on Linux, and a VM lacks opengl, which is required when using fmodel.

      I didn't even know you could play rivals on linux. I thought online games consider linux a virus or something and Easy Anti Cheat blocks u from playing

    i still get the launcher with SteamDeck=1 , am I not supposed to click on the desktop icon?

    For anyone wondering, this mod doesn't do anything except make the mp4's black screens. You still have to manually skip everything with spacebar.

      Your everything is about one spacebar skip. Clearly you haven't used the mod before stating what you don't know.

      Besides start login where you click, the spacebar appear when entering a map after choosing a character, only If you dont want to wait a few seconds.

    does this disable the death replays

      All this mod does is disable .mp4 videos + warn. Nothing else.

    This mod removes the title screen and makes it black. Dont personally like this because it takes away the main background. add a version with the main menu video still there and its peak.

      I already mentioned that in the description. It doesnt remove anything from the game other than videos, so, it doesnt really matter, I made the mod for myself, if you want, the steps I took are below in the descriptions. I wont make another version.

      But for what you want, should be easy to modify, you can modify this mod, use repak, unpack, remove the empty video that you want to work. pack it back and done.
