Season 2 Updated mod to work with the latest update
Important changes:
As you may have noticed there are new mods with `.zip` and `.rar` extensions which are prepatched to work with repak. I havent gotten around to making them working with the repak mod manager yet, in future you should be able to drag and drop those to be able to install it.
This fixes old mods however there is an issue with some mods having lower texture or missing a few materials but I doubt we can fix that, its up to the mod creators.
The process to fix mods remain almost the same, if you are installing audio mods you need to expand the "Options" in the install dialog box and select audio mods, this is because audio mods are loaded differently in game.
Season 1.5
Open your DefaultEngine.ini in your projects folder under Config>DefaultEngine.ini and add those lines to the very bottom: [Core.System] CanUseUnversionedPropertySerialization=False
Common Issues: 1) My game is crashing:
For mods working with with Season 1 patch (last season) or mods uploaded after Feb 10th 2024 use fixLastPatchMods.bat to repak the mod filesFor old unupdated mods from season 0 use repakMod.bat
For old unupdated mods from season 0 use repakMod.bat
2) The window immediately closes without doing anything:
Make sure the folder / mod file you are trying to patch is in the same directory as repak.exe
Make sure the repak folder / folder where u have repak saved doesnt have brackets in the name so `repak(1)` or Download/repak(1)/repakv7 file paths wont work. Remove the parenthesizes to fix the bug
how do i unpak a pak folder, it seems like the descriptions it different then what it should be i don't have repakMOD.bat, unless repak gui can do it but idk couldn't figure it out when using it, was tryna unpak a loading replacer mod i had but forgot what type of videos it had and was wondering if i could unpak to view them sorry if this is a bad explanation
Hi, you and the rest of the modding community have done a fantastic job keeping Mods in Marvel Rivals. First game I have ever used mods for (The Peni Parker Gas Gas Gas audio mod was too good to ignore lol) Keep up the great work.
I am having a bit of a problem at the moment though. Trying to install a voice pack and the audio option is no longer there. At first I though it might be a problem with this particular mod but I went back and tried repaking the Peni mod again and there is still no audio option like there was before. And repaking the new mod without the audio option doesn't work. The original pak file seems to be unchanged.
It does say audio under category. But there also used to be a toggle for it under options. And I have tried repaking known working audio mods, like the one for Peni's ult, but it's still not working properly even if it says audio under category. It's giving me just the pak file and not the ucas or utoc.
I just checked if mesh mods still work and they do. It's just audio I'm having trouble with.
Okay so I was looking through your github releases to see if an older version would work and I saw you deliberately automated the audio mod repak in version 2.3. Didn't realize that. But I did try version 2.2.1 and toggled the audio option. That worked and the repak was done properly.
Maybe not, drag it into repak and it will create the utoc and ucas work. If the mod is built correctly repak will be able to automatically convert it for you
For some reason Windows defender quarantines the repak-gui.exe file and detects "Trojan:Win32/Bearfoos.A!ml" I'm 100% sure its a false positive, knowing i checked on virustotal and everything seemed to be fine.
So im new to modding and I just installed the pink wedding dress for invisible women and it doesn't work. I tried repak and fix mesh together and separately. I don't know what's going on! Thank you for your time. :) (its a season 1.5 mod)
Some mods ARE broken, make sure you have the signature bypass and other mods are working. If it still doesnt work check the revived mods channel on the discord server / request it to be fixed
I unpack my mod just fine. After trying to repack the folder to a .pak file, even with NO CHANGES, the .pak file is nonfunctional. It does nothing in the ~mods folder.
For reference im just trying to replace the skill/intro video mods with my own videos. which I did last season using the same method on the old repaker. (before it had a GUI and was just a couple .bat files).

I have figured out how to fix old mods. It's time consuming to do with hand and requires further refinement. I will drop an update very soon.
Ps: got whitepimp mkd working for now
Repak crash
its just not there.
The file structure has changed and you need repak gui

I tried the old repaker too but no luck.
Am I missing something or does it just not work?
Either way, thank you for your time and effort.
Just for your info videos still use the old mod format so you can use the CLI with bat files from the latest release on github
Thanks again.
