I don't know if anyone figured this out, but I forgot about this. I went back and played this game recently after about a year and forgot this was a thing with this mod.
If you start a new game, you will only pick up 800 resources instead of 1000. You don't actually pick up 1000 until you get the 1st level of ARCANE LEVEL where you get a 25% boost in resource pickup which gives you the 1000.
Thank you so much for the helpful comment! I did eventually figure this out but I never got around to making a note of it. I'll go ahead and sticky your post to give it visibility :)
Thank you again, and thank you for the kind comment <3
Thank you so much for all your mods!! IMHO they are truly great mods. :)
On my first New Game +, I wan't a slower game play so I deleted '200/250 resource pak'. But all the first pick-ups in the new game still gave 200 gloss!? (I know of the reduction of -20% until you made a research so I'm not asking about the 200/250 issue.)
How do I get rid of the bonus alltogether? The pak was deleted on the old victory save, then I checked all game files in steam (to cleanse any unwanted old files) and then I started a NG+ (without the pak). Pick-ups still gives 200/250! I'm perplexed - any advice would be appreciated?
I'm so sorry that I only saw your message on Nexus just now. This is the first time I've checked the page in the last couple of days. I hope the mod is continuing to cooperate on your NG+ run :)
Loving this mod, works great. I'd love it even more if the boosted numbers applied to keys you find and the reagents you have to run around outside and gathering like the mushrooms and herbs.
Reagent yields were too finnicky and I spent way too many hours trying to make them play nice. Not sure if I tried with keys.
I suggest giving my Agatha's Cauldron Overhaul mod a try. It changes the recipes to no longer need reagents, and you can also get arcane keys by exchanging essences for them.
Will do, thank you. I noticed when I looked closer that most of the mods I'm using are yours. Now I can see why. It sounds like this game tries to lock down "cheating" but you're finding solid workarounds for them.
Haha, most of my mods are definitely on the cheating side, but I also like to think they provide a good bit of quality of life for people who think the game is needlessly grindy.
Glad you like my mods and I hope the cauldron mod helps with your reagent and arcane keys issues :)
Hi i had installed the x250 mod and then the double collectable mod and i always picked up 200 of each. then i deleted those and installed the x1000 mod and as you suggested in other comments i slept to reset the pick ups and it still gives me 200 and now 11 ingame days later it still gives me 200 and not 1000. i have other mods installed but they shouldnt interfere at all. https://imgur.com/a/3ppqllG How do i fix this ?
Oh sorry for the screen shot but it is the 1000x one. And no i collected them all for days on end. And i dont know what my arcane level is i saw that sometimes reading a piece of paper gives arcane levels but i have no clue what it is. https://imgur.com/a/oUpfB1f a better screenshot
You should be able to see your arcane level when you view the map while at the abbey. Example under the spoiler showing max arcane level, lower right part of the screenshot:

As for your other issue, are you sure you're getting 200 and not 800? If you're not at least arcane level 1 yet, then you should be getting 800 instead of 1000, but definitely not only 200. From your modlist, you're right that there shouldn't be any conflicts.
Maybe you can try removing the mod completely and see if they go back to their default values and then reinstall the mod. It shouldn't be necessary because I remember swapping between variants with no issue, but maybe it's worth a shot.
I have done my best and uninstalled the mod several times on different save files even but no the 200 wont go away it must be something else that enable the 200 to stay
You could try starting a new game without the mod and check the collectable yield. If they still give 200, then something weird is definitely going on and I'm stumped.
You could also try starting a new game with the 1000 variant installed and check the yield from that, too.
Again, though, this is strange since I was freely swapping variants on the same playthrough when I was testing the mod and taking those screenshots, so they should be 'stuck' there. You're looting both during the day and at night and looting every single thing, right?
Doesnt seem to work. Installed into the right folder and tried running around the abby but still getting very low 6 or so resources am i missing something?
Have you let at least a day pass? The mod doesn’t affect collectables that have already spawned prior to installing. Best thing to do is pick up everything you see and then check out what’s there the next day. Like I said in the description, some of them can persist for a whole cycle, so it may take a couple days until all your collectables are the buffed ones.
I just wanted to say that I use many of your mods and they have been an incredible life saver to make this game not as grindy as it could have been and i greatly appreciate it. It has made my overall enjoyment of the game much more then it would have been otherwise.
Which one would you recommend for first playthrough? I don't want too unlock everything incredibly quick but I would like too elminate much of the grind.
It depends on what you want to do the in the game and what other mods you're using. Are you going to min/max your card mods with no other mods? With the game's default odds on card mods, it's going to take tens of thousands of resources (especially credits) to achieve that. If not, then you should be fine with either the 25 or 50, whichever value you feel it's worth your time picking up. The default is something like 5-7, for reference.
Considering the sheer amount of grinding required to max everybody's card - I feel absolutely no regret whatsoever in giving myself a way to decrease that s#*! :P

@Belinn Thank you so much for what you do.

+ Can there be 1000 and no Gloss version ? If possible, thank you, if not, love you still :D
I unfortunately lost my modding setup when my PC died a while back, so I can't make any promises on fulfilling any requests :(
But thank you so much! I'm happy the mod has been useful to you :)

Correction: It works now I had to sleep for the mod to function.

How do i fix this ?
As for your first issue, what's your arcane level?
Your screenshot isn't showing the full name of the mod so I can't confirm if that's still the 250 or the 1000 variant.
