I found a solution with patch 9, delete the scripts and configs folders in the game folder, run overstrike as administrator, reinstall the scripts, and start the game with overstrike with run modded game. If you haven't done so, also delete the toc.BAK file and reinstall all the mods always with overstrike as administrator.
For anyone wondering this works perfectly fine with patch 8. Make sure to run Overstrike in admin mode. I had an issue with this that I couldn't click run modded game it didnt work. I also received errors when installing mods. Moving the script file from Overstrike to my windows32 folder solved this. Im currently running all of LDD565's mods on the latest game version no crashes whatsoever. No update needed.
Running overstrike as admin has done absolutely nothing for me.
I can't receive errors if the mod isn't even appearing in game to begin with either.
I've tried every trouble shoot option under the sun, if it works for you, great. But I (and probably many others) don't feel comfortable delving into the guts of my pc just to use this singular mod when I can just switch to an older version and have it work just fine.
I don't know what "windows32 folder" are you talking about. Maybe system32? And what script, the script_proxy dll? I copied that dll in System32 because I think that's what you meant and it still give me the "Error loading script! Re-install mods through Overstrike!" message, also ran Overstrike as admin and not as admin, also reinstalled the mods multiple times. I am on latest patch of today(Patch 9-1.508.0.0), if it works for you, please show or explain exactly how you do it.
I'm unsure if this will work for everyone but it's what solved it in my end. Go to where your Spider-Man 2 game is installed, find the "Marvels Spider-Man 2" or click on your desktop shortcut of the game, right click and press "Open file location". If you have the script still installed, delete the folder "scripts" so you can reinstall it, then scroll down till you find "Spider-Man2.rne", and delete it. Once you've done that, head back to Overstrike, press the "Del" key on your keyboard to remove the script if it's not already there, reinstall the script, press "Run modded game" and it should fix the issue.
Picture with error Error loading script! Re-install mods through Overstrike! I get this error for all the mods(ModSettings, Cheats and Rage). I tried disabling, then clicking install, then delete, then close everything, then open Overstrike again and install them, activating, clicking install they install no problem but I still get that error no matter what. I am using the latest patch at this time(Patch 9-1.508.0.0) and the latest Overstrike version. Can someone please help? It doesn't matter if I run Overstrike as admin or not. I think it's maybe because of the new scripts_proxy dll for overstrike or something but I'm not sure.

This mod not working for anyone else? It used to but now for some reason it just doesn't appear in game at all. All of my other mods work a ok.
Edit: Seems this mod and the RageSettings mod aren't working. I've tried everything under the sun to "fix" this problem and nothing has changed. I still don't have any "Mods" tab in game and can't access the rage settings at all.
I've rearranged my mod load list, uninstalled my .toc files and had them reinstalled about 10 times. I also put -scripts in the launch properties for the game in steam, literally nothing has worked. All of my other 23 mods work Superbly.
