I've seen alot posted that the remover might not work. So i'll provide a simple and easy to follow manuel deinstallation guide, here so.

    How to:
    - Press Win+R and type in Regedit
    - go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
    - Delete the TdrDdDelay and TrdDelay

This will fully remove all Regedits made by the file.

Thanks for the regedit.. edit lol. It works with other games too since it's just a hang time error report timer from 2 seconds to what 60 seconds. I noticed less stutter during traversing at low height (close to ground) :D thanks man. I tweaked other settings too and put process priority as high in task manager and it helped removing the stutters entirely
  3. for those people whose mod does not work u have to open the registry editor then Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers find tdr delay and hw sch mode (dont do the this in hexadecimal do this in decimal) then change the tdr delay value to 10 and hw sch mode to 2 (this is basically what the mod changes ).

Both the mod and your guide don't work. I have 3070ti, and it runs only 50% the FPS shown on the youtube.

DID THEY JUST COPY PAST THE DAMN SPECS WITHOUT TESTING ? plz help me cuz this game really made me sick where there is no hope to make it not drop from 60 fps even on doggie garbage settings

What exactly do the Regedits do?

this Regedit modifyies how some certain DLL's interact with the GPU itself (helps when sopme DLL's are badly coded in and overload the GPU processing causing it to lose performance)

now it varies from GPU to GPU if this will help, latest AMD GPU's benefit from it prob some of the 7000 ones too and as far as i know atleast all RTX cards should benefit from it to some point.

The regedit alone adds two new values known as TrdDelay and TrdDdDelay within the SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers registry.

EDIT: forgot to add, the second one simply removes the Added values in case it doesn't help or even tanks perfromance, they can also be manually removed by just following the upper path i provided simply press Win+R and type in regedit and hit enter it will open the entire Registry Window which you can follow to the provided path.

I went to the top of a building and it was 145 - 150 fps, then I downloaded the dll and it continued at the same fps and latency too! My GPU is GTX 1660 super, I didn't notice any improvement. But thank u anyway :D

Hey man I'm still having trouble. Since activating it, my game runs smoother but the webshooters don't work at all. I've tried following that path but can't find the tdr or TRD delay, I found a TDR_RECOVERY, but that's it. I don't wanna delete something wrong on accident. Also, tried resetting to a previous system from a week ago pc wise, that didn't help either. So this modd effectively has broken the game for me at this moment. If you have any advice or any way to help me fix that'd be awesome.

I ran it again and found those and deleted them. Didn't change the effects they did to the system tho unfortunately, especially on sm2 where the webshooters still don't work

dude i had alright performance on my laptop with a 4060 and an i9, medium settings getting 50-60fps, i installed this mod, and than my performance tanked to like 10-15 fps, so i uninstalled the mod and it didn't change anything. I'm now getting permanent 10-15 fps on the absolute lowest settings. i did a file verification and that didn't change either. I'm so confused, can you give me some tips?

This is why you don't regedit if you don't know what you're doing. The change was made to your PC, not the game.

yes i have never messed with windows registry but i still dont understand what the problem is, i followed the instruction 1:1 and it just effected game performance not pc performance. i even used the uninstall file and it didnt change.

      The creator posted this route:

The regedit alone adds two new values known as TrdDelay and TrdDdDelay within the SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers registry.

So you just need to delete them but apparently the mod comes with a file to revert the changes, I haven't tried it myself because it's really hard to trust anyone with these changes, things are the way they are for a reason.

Edit: checked my registry and the values are not there since I didn't install this so yeah, should be safe to delete them.

Guys I ran the reg file, performance improved but it deleted the web shooters right out of the game. I went to run the Uninstaller file, it didn't do anything. How do I fix this and get things back to normal?

I'm seeing no change whatsoever on my system. Either I did something wrong or it just doesn't work for me.

noticed a significant performance boost (about 20-30 fps) with a 4070 Super so thanks!

went from 70-80 near the street to 95-120

Same card but different results here, the performance actually got worse and dropped to 50 fps at 1440p native. Used to be at constant 70 fps before the reg edit.

No, this tweak doesn't directly increase FPS. It simply extends the time Windows waits for the GPU to respond before reinitializing the driver, which can prevent crashes or unexpected reboots in very intensive scenes. As such, it can improve system stability, but it won't increase frame rates by itself
