Had to downgrade the files. https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelsspidermanremastered/mods/3258. This is where I went to get them. Once I downgraded the mods started working.
Has anyone gotten this to work on the Steam Deck? I can get the game and this running but the ScriptHook just say's waiting for the game to launch even when I'm deep in it.
I don't have Steam Deck, but I was having a similar issue. I got past it when I did this: First, run the SMPCScriptHookLauncher.exe. Close the game launcher after it pops up while keeping the ScriptHook CMD window open. Then relaunch the game. It may also need to be run in windowed mode.
Get ProtonUp-Qt from the Discover app, click Proton GE and it'll open a drop down menu, then download Steam Tinker Launch. It's a compatibility tool built on top of Proton so you use it the same way, by going to Properties and the Compatibility tab. Start the game and you'll see a gray screen, in the bottom right corner click main menu, you'll only have a couple seconds to do this. On the main screen, look to the bottom for a button that says Game Menu. Click it. It'll open a new window and you want to look for the check box that says Use custom command. Click it and under it will be custom command, click the long gray box next to it and it will open up Spider-Man's file system. Select SMPCScriptHookLaunch.exe. then look down a couple more options until you see a check box named Inject custom script, check that. Then save and play. You may get another screen before it launches, asking you to select the custom command a second time, if it says Spider-Ma.exe, just click the box and choose the script hook again, it should save it after that. I also increased the time before the script hook is injected by 10 seconds, its that gray box next to it, but the scroll thing covers it when you try to interact, so its kinda hard to adjust. I went into Desktop mode, then took STL out of full screen and adjusted the bottom slider just enough to be able to hit the plus button with the mouse in the corner of the screen.
Every time I run script hook after booting up the game, script hook crashes, If I start by opening script hook it launches the game but does nothing, it usually says that it has lauched but it does nothing at all

Download the scripthook (HAS TO BE VERSION 1.0.0)
Place the scripthook files into your game directory (The folder with the executable e.g: "C:\Users\YourUsername\Downloads\Spider-Man-R-SteamRIP.com\Marvels Spider-Man Remastered\Spider-Man.exe")
Create a new folder in the game directory and name it scripts. This is where you're going to put any script mod you want to use.
When you double click it, the game's launcher will open, click on play.
In the same directory, you should find an executable called SmartSteamLoader_x64.exe
When you double click it, the game's launcher will open, click on play.
Once you've done this, double click on the scripthook. A dialogue will open saying Scripthook is waiting for the game to be launched. If successful, the scripthook will automatically minimize itself (You might need to run as admin)
If this doesn't work for some reason, DON'T WORRY, just drag and drop the scripthook executable onto SmartSteamLoader and press play. If the scripthook crashes, just open it again and it'll work. SmartSteamLoader may be quarantined by your antivirus software, even if you have Windows defender and your firewall disabled. Chances are it was logged as a virus. just open the game first then when the sony ent. text comes up alt tab out of the game and open the scripthook launcher. Works for me. No need for all of dat
