I just updated the mod to include optional files which are:
- MCU Animations but with more frequent phone swing kicks for those who want to see it more often - MCU Emotes Only for those who want to have the emotes but not have to use the Webwing Gliding module.
I'll keep updating this if I find any more animations that are suited to Tom Holland's style.
I've been experimenting on the different modules and I think I found the right balance between the MCU and Expressive mods that works for me.
Currently I'm using this combination:
Expressive Swing Kick V3 Expressive Swing Intro and Traversal V3 Expressive Web Tunnel V1 Expressive Air Idles V3 MCU Web Releases and Jump Tricks MCU Experimental Addons: Webwing Fliding and Emotes MCU Phone Perch MCU Combat MCU Finishers
The Phone and Chill idle is cool and all but it does get too repetitive after a while and I find Andrew's Spin idle to have much better flow in transition. As for MCU swings, the only animation I really like is the phone swing so I prefer Andrew's overall as Holland's has too many uncontrolled swing spins. And as for MCU Combat, it's good but one request I would like is to give the animation slow-mo effects whenever a final punch or kick in a combo connects to give the illusion of more impact much like what theMasterXD did with his Martial Arts Fighting Style Mod.
Hopefully we get more modules in the future to mix and match our own style for Spider-man. Cheers.
My opinion shifted a few weeks after posting that comment. Now I find myself Using more MCU Animations than Expressive to compliment my Air Idles mod. I still mix and match my swing Animation modules but for now I'm liking the uncontrollable swinging in MCU to Expressives more fluid swinging.
how do you get these mods setup? ive installed them but i dont see any phone animations in game. i have the right versions and i even have the chill phone idle
i will certainly try this. thank you for your fast replies! is this the same case for the swinging emotes? i cant ever get my character to pull out his phone while swinging
any chance of an optional file where the web glide only activates on the second web zip? this happens sometimes when the animations overlap and it feels MUCH more natural than the other way around. thanks in advance you are doing fantastic work!
great mod! i can't seem to get the air idles to trigger, is there anything specific to get them? I assume it's different than in the Miles game as I can't activate any animations during a freedive in SMPC
