Personal preference is really the only deciding factor over which version to choose. Judging primarily from the SM2 version of this mod, I personally believe this version's animation choices have a better flow than Vader's, though there is a lot of overlap since they both have the same goal and there's only so many animations they can choose from
Like he said it's down to personal preference. I've been using Guitarth's mods for a long time, but after i created my own version for MSM2 and came back to replay this game there were a lot of things i didn't like from his version, mainly the transitions and the web zips. Therefore i decided to recreate my version focusing on the graceful flow from my own mod. You won't see anything here that doesn't flow well, everything will be very smooth but don't take my word for it, try for yourself and see which one you prefer.
Love your mod! Both yours and Vader's are great, but yours feels smoother, more polished, and kind of refreshing to me. I'm going to record my gameplay in a movie style using it. Thank you so much for your work!
Hey, this mod is pretty good! Will you make it modular at some point or separate the files? Like one separate file with the swing intros, another one with the kicks, and so on?
I'm glad you enjoyed. Like i said in the description i created this for personal use and wasn't going to share, but i decided that other people might like it so i'm sharing as it is. Therefore i don't have plans nor intend to make it modular.
Since animations aren't compatible between Remastered and 2, did you have much trouble recreating this with Remastered and MM assets? Like difference in file names for the same animations?
I had this fear too, but they share the same name and order so it only took me like one hour to put everything together. On top of that, there were way less animations to replace as well.

can you make one with only the dive swing intros, excluding the goofy one where his body awkwardly turns sideways to the left while shooting the web to the right? and also remove the jumptricks, web releases? and wall jump offs? the swing kicks are real good though
