To anyone having issues installing the mod properly:
First disclaimer, I myself am new to modding ME trilogy so I'm not gonna pretend to be an expert, but I have been in the game modding scene in general for a long time so I pick up quick.
As far as I can tell the problem with installing this mod right now comes down to this part in the Readme "IMPORTANT: You will need to run the DLC Authorization Patch for ME2, in order for the game to run with the mod. Download ME3Explorer and open the ME2Explorer. Go to the "Tools" menu and run the "dlc Crack"."....
The problem is that ME3Explorer, as far as I can tell, doesn't even contain a ME2 mode and it certainly isn't setup like it was at the time this mod author wrote the Readme. ME3Explorere has clearly changed since then. So that means you can't do the ME2 DLC authorization crack process by the above method.
I've dug around and found 2 things: A) ME3Explorere seems to be no longer the preferred method of installing mods, whether they be texture or otherwise (according to material I've read on the ALOT mod description page. Apparently the preferred tool for that now is called MEM; B) there is a simpler way to do the DLC authorization crack process now. It looks like this is the most up-to-date method. https://github.com/Erik-JS/masseffect-binkw32/releases/tag/r4.
Just extract the 2 DLL files for the respective game (from the source download) and drop them in the respective games binary folder as the Readme in the download explains. This is all covered on the description page for ALOT but I'm pretty positive that this DLC authorization method is accomplishing exactly what the author of this Arrival mod was getting at when he told us to use ME3Explorer to do a "dlc crack".
I haven't tested yet but this should be the proper way to get everything working and authorized correctly.
In case we never get it for the Legendary Edition, I figured out a work around that we can use in the meantime.
Go to Mass Effect Legendary Edition > Game > ME2 > BioGame > DLC > DLC_EXP_Part02 > CookedPCConsole and open up BIOGame.ini. There should be a line in there that says +TimedPlotUnlocks=(PlotBool=7449,UnlockDay=0). Change the 0 to a high number, like 50. This will postpone the trigger for the DLC indefinitely. When you're ready to play it, just change it back to 0 and access Shepard's private terminal.
Doesn't seem to work anymore, period. ME3Explorer is not only no longer the recommended mod manager, but it's actively discouraged. And even after installing the .dll's referenced in the comment below mine (albeit a more recent version of them, I fairly certain), Hackett's message was still triggering after Horizon.
Apparently this is redundant as of the release of ME2Recalibrated, so I'm gonna stop tracking this but I'll keep the endorse up because you've earned it my friend.
Just finished a playthrough with this mod and it works perfectly. Thanks a lot! In case anyone is wondering this works fine with ALOT so long it's installed before it.

Would you please consider recreating this mod for Legendary Edition?
Thank you.

May I install this mod now or I have to vanilla the game and then install it and, at the end, reinstall A-L-O-T ?
