    Hi

I have  not played in 2 years or 3. And I can not get any of the mods to work. And all of a sudden
frosty is now launching the game with steam after downloading and using the frosty fix.

But none of the mods show up in the game.

    Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi

Which part of your mod is the black with the blue glow?
and what does the no oil mean?

if i remember right black is the color from the armor editor in-game.
blue lights might be the mod linked in the description (remove .rd)
no il means that it removes the oil-ish tint from the armor when using light colors.

You know how the lights in the original shift from purple to blue? In your mod it keeps blue all the time, what do I need to change in the editor to make it shift, for example: Black to blue?

      from description:
?To make your own version go to :

      game/characters/hunman/hmm/0_armor/heleus/

open the mesh you want to edit (example heavey_model_mesh   .... type: SkinnedMeshAsset)

      • materials>0>shaders>vectorparameters>6/7
      • materials>1>shaders>vectorparameters>7/8

Emissive_color_01 and Emissive_color_02 needs to be edited
try Emissive_color_01 black and Emissive_color_02 blue ... or other colors ... or different order ... nut you must go

other than that ... this mod is made a long time ago ... in a galaxy far far away ... not as strong my mind is.

For the last image, how did you get that elite helmet's glow to be blue? I would really love to know

I honestly can't remember. there are years since I made this mod, and I didn't notice until now :D .
I looked at my mead mods files (still have the game installed) and there doesn't seem to be a different mod to this.
There are 2 possible scenarios: either it can be edited ingame, I don't remember OR
There is a shared resource and while editing something else I also edited this.

But, try to load the helmet and look for Emmisive_color things and that should usually be the thing that changes ligts on armors.

Thanks! I was liking changing the colors of the armor but the oil effect was driving me nuts.

Now to get rid of the purple hue to the visor....

      Enjoy :)

There is already a mod for that hue on the helmet. It works in combination with my mod :) https://rd.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/401

Well...yes..the reason why I didn't unoil the helmet is because it didn't bother me that much and also to remain compatibile with the other heleus visor mods. Maybe some day if I will come back to moding MEA I will fix this.

Can you show a Before / After example?
What is 'Oil Effect'? Not sure what that means and I might not be the only one. THX

Well...if you selected all tint option white you will see that the white is not white. It has some oily tints. And they look really ugly in my opinion. I just removed that effect.

This can be seen in the white parts of the concept art too.
