As of August 2022, I don't think this is working? Characters speak to my Ryder and, unless I am looking straight at them with the camera, the voice will sound far away and all over the place.
Excuse me for not having english as a first language and for being new to the game. I will make sure to fix both asap for your comfort.
It doesn't fix the AUDIOLOGS anyways. The datapads of Liara still sound off if I am not standing right in front of them so my original issue still stands regardless of your attitude.

I playing this playthrough in French and so far I don't see any difference. Granted, I'm still at the start of the game : Ryder and crew just reached the Nexus for the very 1st time, Ryder just lost his father. That being said, maybe I'm being impatient. LOL
If it does not work in French, I'll try it on my next run in English.
Hi watafuzz, thank you very much for your excellent mod, it makes the audio experience much more tolerable - seriously, the orientation just needs to turn audio down a fraction, rather than virtually turning audio OFF when you're not facing the source.
Could you please tell us what you did (i.e. which settings are the filter)? I have been trying to sort out the rest of the audio sources with no success.
Also, I can't get your project file to load into Frosty Editor, so I can't see for myself
I love this, would it be possible to do the same for ambient conversations? Always seemed weird I could be standing right next to two people but unable to hear a word they say because the camera is the wrong direction.
Most likely yes, I did audiologs because they were the most obvious to me both in the game and in the game files. I may look into fixing the rest but no promises.
