As of now the LE1 version does not work. The only thing that's changed as to keep it from working is ME3Tweaks (the mod manager.) I believe the update has upgraded a few things and, for whatever reason, that is keeping this from working. It's obviously a fixable issue... Possibly. The problem is that I need to look further into how to get it to work properly. (I'm not mod-savvy so have no clue what I'm doing the majority of the time.) And even redoing the mod from scratch- meaning creating it anew- has ended in failure. So, currently, LE1 of this mod doesn't work unless you're using an older ME3Tweaks version. How old? I don't know. And, frankly, I don't believe this mod would be worth the downgrading because that would probably cause other mods not to work.

So, until further notice, LE1 will remain unplayable. It's unfortunate but so far all my attempts have proved fruitless. I'm not giving up, but I can't guarantee I'll ever even figure it out. I'm really just posting this so people know that I know about the problem and am working on it to the best of my ability.

UPDATE 3.2: I want to thank DecShep and WalkWithTheShadows for bringing attention to a pretty severe bug. This update should make it so exiting the game won't make the hair disappear for LE3.

For LE1 it can only replace the hairs. It still has some of the old hairs included with the new but 10 were replaced. To get the new hairs you must click on 'Different Styles + More' or 'Different Styles + Brighter Hairs + More.' With LE2 all the hairs are included but the new hairs are only included with 'More' and 'Brighter Hair + More.' LE3 just has everything in the base file because it doesn't have different options because it was a beast to work with and LE3 has to be my least favorite to make mods for.

LE3 version doesn't cause conflicts with the Appearance Modification Menu or the Prologue outfit Customizer. However the options I've added aren't included in the sliders of those mods so if you chose a specific eye, skin, hair or complexion that you wanted from this then don't change that particular thing in the Appearance modification Menu.

But, anyways, I hope people enjoy this! :)

UPDATE 4.2(3.3): This update took such a long time that it's embarrassing and it's one of those things where you feel stupid for not getting it earlier. But it should now be compatible with ALOT and other textures. It also shouldn't disappear. I tested it and had no such issues.

If you do, for whatever reason, have that problem after this update then I'm not sure that I could help as I didn't have it on my end. Still, it doesn't hurt to post about it and let me know. If I can help find you a solution, I'm all for trying.

This mod is amazing, thank you for the hard work you’ve put in! I love the head morph you used in the first picture…I was wondering what the code is for that?

Sorry to hear this mod no longer works -- I would absolutely love to use the classy devona2 bun in my game!

I'm still working on it. Unfortunately everything I've tried has been useless. I'm not sure why but ME3Tweaks doesn't seem to like my game so much despite it being legit. (got it from steam) So I'm completely stumped and might have to wait until the next update to see if that changes anything.

I know nothing about creating mods so I imagine it's a headache. Thanks for your efforts -- in the meantime, I'm excited to use these hairs in ME2 and 3!

I've unhidden my first mixtures hair mod on the off chance you would still want the classy bun for LE1. It's also kind of a finicky mod for whatever reason and that's why I had originally hidden it and planned to re-release it into a better less confusing/messy mod. Hope you have fun playing and I very much appreciate your kind words and support! :)

I love these. Thanks so much for making it!

I do notice I get seams for the complexions. It's unfortunately a common issue with some other complexion mods as well, not just yours. I do have a solution to decrease the seam, via using Save Editor. It will make your face more matte, so if you hate shiny face, this will be great for you.

Just go to Headmorph > Vectors and find:
    HED_Spec_Add_Vector

Change the colour to black. The closer to black it is, the more matte your face will look. Worked for me for me across all games.

This mod is very helpful and I am grateful it exists but recently the LE1 version isn't working, I've tried multiple ways to try and fix it but its still not working.

Please BubbleButton can you look into it, might be something wrong with the LE1 version.

I noticed an other person is having the same problem further down @Alisselina

    thank you for your time.

Any mod that replaces the HMF_HED, HMF_HIR or Entry menu PCC's will conflict with this mod. Likely you have a mod that is conflicting with the entry menu file? Unless you've tried this on a clean install? and I mean a real clean install. I think some mods remain with traces even if you've uninstalled them. It's part of why the mod manager offers an option to have backup files because even just uninstalling and reinstalling the game doesn't necessarily give you a clean install. With other games like BG3 I literally have to delete files and verify them so the game reproduces them clean. That might work for Mass Effect if you don't have a clean backup, but I honestly hesitate to suggest doing it because I don't really consider myself a very trusty source on this matter.

If your still struggling or still interested then PM me and let me know what mods you were using or if you weren't using any and if it's a clean install. Also let me know if you get any messages pop up when you install it. I'll try and get to it, but I can't guarantee it'll happen anytime soon. This additions mod is one of the biggest pains and I haven't modded in so long that I'll likely need to relearn everything I did with it. It'll prob take me awhile to figure out the problem too if it's not as simple as having a conflicting mod. I hope it is that simple but- with my mods?- usually not.

Thanks for replying, I have tested your mods on ME2 and ME3 and they work with no problems its just ME1 which isn't working. I have done a proper clean install as you suggested and its still not showing up in game.

I was using no mods while testing it and still didn't work.

Please help me by looking into it, if you can.

      thanks for your time.

I'd love to use this, but I don't want to have to start a completely new playthrough just for that. Do you have the codes for these listed anywhere? The Hair Mixtures 2 pages has codes, but only for the ones on that version.
  9. I loved this mod but recently It has stopped working... I have just installed a few other mods. None of them are appearance mods so they shouldn't conflict... Any thoughts are appreciated.
Everything seems to have installed with my chosen option -I can log into a previous character with different hair and a bright blonde- but when I go to create a character none of the new colours, hair or complections are available.
    *I've tried uninstalling my mods
*I've tied reinstalling the game and only installing this mod...
    Still no luck.
I have tested all 3 mods. The Mods for ME2 and 3 seem to be working perfectly well. its just the mod for ME1 that is playing up.

Stupid question, but are these new colors/styles accessible through the character creator in LE1/LE2? I ask since the appearance modification menu is only available for LE3. Or do you have to use the save editor?

These are new colors/styles available for all three games in the character creator. The appearance modification menu is just compatible as it shows up after you've already selected the options you want for the game. But it's not part of the appearance modification menu so these options don't appear in that menu. So long as you don't change the colors or hairstyle in the appearance modification menu and only mess with adjusting the features than it'll work together.

Hello! First of all, thank you for this mod, it's a must! ♥  But I'm encountering a problem with the teeth (the light is off, so it looks like she doesn't have any) it's happening in ME 1... Is there a way to fix it? (no textures installed)

That's more to do with the scalp I believe than the hair. The scalp texture is what messes with teeth. I recommend trying to change your scalp using trilogy save editor and seeing if that fixes it up or try a mem texture for teeth. Or it could be the color of your characters teeth which is an issue with vanilla game in which case you can also change it using trilogy save editor. The teeth in this game in general is bad and I don't believe that would be due to this mod. (I didn't mess with the teeth when I made this.)

Hey Miranda, thanks for making us two side undercut options. Unbelievable how fans can do such a fantastic job more than some devs even in the remaster. Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately, I've noticed the hairstyle I'm using has teeth issue that this mod fixes for new LE hairs... Can it be fixed for hairs from this mod?

Edit: actually, installing the mod I mentioned seems to have fixed the issue... So nevermind lol

BEFORE installing this be aware that you should backup your vanilla files. [...] If there are mods with said files mentioned above, they will, unfortunately, conflict.

I guess that makes Old Scars incompatible? I missed this part of your description, and when I edited BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R to add my old scar, my Shepard became bald. :(

Yes, if it replaces files from this mod than it's incompatible. I would suggest using hair mods that require the trilogy save editor if old scars is a must have for you. This mod was extremely finicky and time consuming to make and has too many options with LE1 and LE2 for how frustrating it was and so I won't be making it compatible with anything.
