Hello, Expanded Galaxy Mod, it has it's own coalesced bin that conflicts with this. It's in the War Module of EGM which Spectre Expansion mod requires but because I rely on this I can't use the spectre mod.
I find that this mod is not compatible with EGM, which also makes changes to the core bin file. Because of this, it does not stop the Reapers, fuel is not unlimited and it doesn't do a full scan of the system on one click. Will say that Options 1,2 and 5 work great. I like both mods. I've tried doing your overwrite before doing any other mods and then redoing all mod and doing your overwrite last. Didn't matter, had same results. If you find a work around let me know.
I don't understand the purpose of the mod. It literally removes almost all difficulty from the game. The object of games...to overcome obstacles. Obstacles by definition, are difficult.
Also, ammo should never be a problem in the game. Even on insanity, the amount of ammo dropped is still good. I've never had a problem with it. Ran out of SMG ammo a couple of times as a Vanguard, but completely replenished a few seconds later, by moving. Granted, a Vanguard needs less ammo than a soldier, but a Vanguard is going to carry less weapons, meaning less rounds to fire...and I don't go for ammo count upgrades. I almost always take upgrades to increase biotic power, and ammo penetration. Yet ammo is never a problem.
Next, I just don't get why anyone wants to play a game with no challenges? Like, running from Reapers on the map, when scanning, is not hard at all. Yet there are two mods I just saw, to remove the Reaper Threat. I mean, seriously? Why?
It just seems to me that the same people who want to just smash through the game with no challenges, are the same people who download cheats for PvP games. Which is why I almost never play PvP games anymore. What's the point of playing if a significant part of the community is going to use cheats? There is no point. The idea behind PvP games is that human opponents are supposed to add more challenge than AI can. But then...you download a cheat to give yourself an unfair advantage...often a guaranteed win button? Seems pointless. Ruins the whole point of playing. Usually done by people who can't accept that they just aren't very good at gaming.
Bah...whatever. Just tell Grunt not to call you Battle Master.
So question what is the point in all this other than you saying that you disapprove of cheats? In LE all the games are single player unlike the original ME3 which had multiplayer as an option. I hate cheats in PvP as well. However I do not go to random cheats ( for single player games ) and start hating on them just because some people like to make the game easier, and for the record I use mods that add difficulty and have beat the game countless times on Insanity so using cheats like this one make the following 1000+ playthroughs less boring for me. Now If you don't like it I get it but simply ignore this cheat like everyone else who does not want it don't come spew hate for those that need/ want it for fun.
I'm all for mods that make the game feel a little new...a little more fresh. I don't get how removing every obstacle makes the game more fun. I just don't get it. My second point was just a supposition...that many people who do that...remove all the obstacles, are often the same people who cheat in PvP...because they don't like the difficulty of PvP.
I remember when H1Z1 Devs made people create apology videos to get their account unlocked, after getting caught cheating. It was quite informative to hear people admit why they were using ESP in that game. I was surprised by the honesty. Some admitting that it sucked that they weren't good, but "got good" with the cheat, and they liked the "respect" they got. That makes me wonder why I have seen people on these Nexus forums, talking about doing Insanity play throughs, while using mods that make the game easy. As I said, I don't get it. Putting the game difficulty on casual would accomplish the same thing.
So one of my points was I do not use mods that "remove all the obstacles" until I have beat the game without them at least once, and when I choose to it is to make the later playthroughs easier and more fun in the sense that I still get a little challenge from Insanity ( in this case ) without dying 500+ times to a random grenade or op enemy attack that I could not avoid, as for my biggest point it is that you don't need to go to a random cheat and say oh how can this make the game more fun when it takes away all the challenge. Now if you are asking how it can make it more fun for some but not all people then my explanation of my first point should do just that.
Just because you don't agree with the mod doesn't mean everyone else has to think like you, this entire website is made for people who want to alter their games in different ways. I don't enjoy every single mod that pops up on here and some I also don't see the point in either. However, my opinion on those mods don't affect me one way or another. If you don't like it just move on it's as simple as that. As WarsWarrior stated, most people have beaten these games countless times and want to play in different ways, all my mod does is offer another way to play.
Dude, its a singl;e player game, dont tell me most of the people dont like cheating in singleplayer games.. ask fallout..skyrim.. dragon age.. e.t.c. players if they cheat, you gona get a 80% yes answer. it is a game in whitch i should be able to enjoy a more diverse options of playthrough, maybe i havent played this game in a while and im doing a new playthrough just to enjoy shepard being a badass renegade?? maybe im not in the mood of shooting npcs and just wanna be a badass in conversations and choices... i see nothing wrong in cheating in a singleplayer game, i actually condemn singleplayer games that do not allow cheats. pc players like me always find a workaround anyway, i dont get why some singleplayer games dont implement cheats to make the games more fun on other platforms also... whelp, its their loss.
Plenty of reasons to want to mess around and cheat after your first playthrough. I'm personally using this just for cooldowns too stay perma invis during a companion only playthrough on insanity. basically using this for a harder playthrough. :D :D :D
Lol, wow. Yet another person that thinks their OPINION is the only valid one. I play games to RELAX, not be yet more WORK. I want to imagine being a nearly-invincible badass superhero. That relaxes me. I don't want to have to keep replaying certain scenes 'cause I got shot in the back. I create mods myself for various games (not this one, at least not yet) and blatantly tell people in LARGE letters when they are CHEATS. Single-player games are meant to be played however the player DESIRES, not how you THINK we should want to play them. Play your own game however you want, just don't ATTEMPT to tell us how to play OUR games on our OWN time, thank you very much.
You should've left it at that and mean it genuinely instead of acting like if YOU can't understand, that means there's no possible way there even is anything to understand.
Sometimes a game is good in all areas except combat gameplay, when it's the case it's nice to have cheats so we can basically skip it altogether. I'd much rather have a mod like Deadly Combat for LE2, but apparently that doesn't exist for LE3, so if the combat doesn't do anything for me (ie if it's bullet sponge like the 2 previous games), I might have to download this one.
It basically is and this is a great help in my experience. If you want tools to edit the files for personal use, there are several starting with https://github.com/ME3Tweaks/ME3TweaksModManager/releases for game files and https://github.com/KarlitosVII/trilogy-save-editor/releases for save file edits.
No one cares about your opinion of this mod. Some people like games to be easier and more accessible, cope. Next time instead of being a miserable person and finding random stuff to be mad about, you go outside take a deep breathe and maybe try and make a single friend.
Necroing this but idc, Im downloading this because I accidentally started the Citadel DLC before I wanted to and now have to slog through 15hrs of s#*! I already did. Like hell I'm gonna play all this s#*! again on insanity.
I 'm sorry if you are no longer modding the game, but if possible, could you make a version that's left handed? I use my right hand for the mouse, and up arrow, down arrow, left arrow, and right arrow for directional controls, NumPad 0 for jump, etc. The standard number keys would be much more convenient. Thank you.
Hey there, havent been actively modding this anymore. However if you are still interested in this, let me know and I'll get it done for you. Will just need to know what buttons will work as hot keys for you.
