When I attempt to import the mod into ME3Tweaks, it says the archive file has not compatible mods in it. I've tried doing mod manager install option at download but it says Mod manager just says the same thing. I've also tried extracting the mod from the archive but there are no compatible files in the extract folder. What do I do?
Any plans to bring PV in line with Spectre Expansion? I have to disable PV to install the Expansion mod then re enable it. I havent played in about a year so I dont know if there will be in game conflicts but it all used to work together. Great mod btw I love it especially the revamped Citadel. Are there plans to create a map for that area so we can find where the contacts were moved to? Thanks
SEM as of 1.3.0 is incompatible with Project Variety, as the two mods edit lots of the same things but have differing visions on how to achieve those (there's an article detailing this on the SEM mod page). There's a version prior to 1.3.0 still left up that is compatible with Project Variety (in its current state, anyway).
Not sure why this is posted on the Omega Hub page instead of SEM's page, but I have an article on there that goes into detail about why not. To put it in the simplest terms, I tried hard to persuade PV to maintain compatibility and they decided against it.
Can confirm Mechanic quest is still broken. I also just get the ambient dialogue that you gave him the inverters. I also have Diversification Project mod installed where it moved this quest to the Omega Hub. What I ended up doing to get the quest is saving while in Omega Hub post DLC and then use that save to open the Save Editor:
1. Go to Raw Plot > Booleans 2. Search: mecanic (yes this exact spelling) 3. Tick the following: 2304: ME3.DLC_EXP_Pack002.OmgHub.Side_Quests.mecanic_quest_accepted It should now show up in your journal. Go to The hallway between lower part of Afterlife and the markets where some Vorcha are and you should be able to find it and hand it in back to the mechanic.
I hope you don't have to do this in a future update if you have both LE3 DP and Omega Hub in the future.
Have an issue I hope someone can help me with. With this mod active Aria's Mechanic cannot be talked to and cannot get the assignment to get the converter for him. I looked all over omega after the dlc and couldn't find anything. I re-ran his (the mechanics) content with this mod disabled and he becomes available so it's definitely this mod. This is also in the description "- Port the batarian mechanic quest from Omega DLC to the hub, to give it some content. This will be locked behind a plot that other mods can use to activate it." So does anyone know where that quest is moved to now? Is it added to another mod to activate it like that description states? Or maybe it has been removed by this mod but not added by another mod so it's just un-available currently? I am running EGM SEM amongst others but again I can't find the quest anywhere lol. Thanks for any help.
The batarian mechanic is found by the flatbed truck near Afterlife. This mod does not edit the DLC content to prevent you from speaking to him, it just allows you to attain & complete the quest if you didn't during the DLC.
Thing is, the mechanic is there just to the left of the first door on entering Omega. However, the ambient conversation that precedes being able to talk to him directly and getting the quest (like with the hacker quest) doesn't happen. During the Omega DLC itself, the ambient conversation also doesn't happen (because I have LE3DP and Omega Hub, as mentioned elsewhere). However, if I disable Omega Hub and then load up a save where Shepard is standing next to the mechanic during the DLC, the conversation proceeds normally.
Diagnostic log is as per here. Hopefully this helps explain the issue better.

Mainly what files to edit/reference.
Willing to do the work, but some guidance would be appreciated.
Edit: Fixed it
