Why doesn't it work with Jack Loyalty Mission?

How does this affect unlocking the two ME1/LE1 missions that respectively require high Paragon and Renegade to access? Would this make unlocking both in one playthrough possible?

After the Unofficial/Community patches, the most important mod on the Citadel, and the one that adds the most enjoyment.

Finally you can play Shepard, as a manipulative liar. Always picking renegade choices, but using paragon dialogue.

This makes choices so much better! No need to be space Jesus or a total dickhead all the time.

    Thank you!

I'd say you don't have to be neither in vanilla game as well - you just couldn't choose some dialogue options, that's all. You still could bit the game that way, it's as legit a playthrough as the "space Jesus/total dickhead" one. Choice and consequence.

Hard disagree. You absolutely have to pick one or the other in vanilla to get the benefits of it.
Otherwise you get locked out of tons of both paragon and renegade options.
I don't see a "choice and consequence" that's beneficial to me, as the player in that situation. I get to make choices that narrow the scope of my role play options? Lame. This mod is how the game should've always been.

There's an issue in ME2, especially in late game, where even with a load of points in paragon or renegade, if you didnt consistantly choose only one or the other, late game paragon and renegade choices do not unlock for you because theres an internal "tier score" of how many times you choose one or the other.

Doesn't work for me i dragged .7zip on ME3MODMANAGER and imported into library, select target ME1 LE and click apply. But i have locked grey options and i have empty renegade and paragon bars, paragon is filled like from 2 % https://imgur.com/a/Ksd2AlR I am using latest steam version of the game, maybe it doesn't work anymore on newer builds?

It is installed: https://imgur.com/a/eiW1lsK DOn't know what issue is...

You still have to upgrade charm or intimidate

Ah okay, you still are expected to level the Charm/Intimidate skills. I understand now. This essentially eliminates the game's disincentive to ever mix them. I'm gonna assume its working then, and that the grey option I saw was just a higher requirement than the other option. Feels like it'll be really cool for a less boring neutral-(ish) playthrough.

this is the single best mod for mass effect, fixes by far the biggest issue with the game, thank you so much. It's a very elegant solution

how would this affect your character when importing to mass effect 3?

will you struggle to hit those speech requirements in me3 if you went 50%/50% paragon/renegade in me2?

ME3 uses in vanilla the system this mod uses for ME2, so there is no problem.

An amazing mod, and definitely has a permanent place in my LE1/2 runs from now on.

My only complaint - if you can even call it that - is that in LE1 at least (as that's what I'm currently in), it's comically easy to have enough combined points in Charm and Intimidate to pass every single check in the game very early on. Even the infamous Feros check is a paltry thing to get through even if it's the first planet you go to. Making the checks themselves a bit harder to compensate for the fact you could in theory have upwards of 20 combined points could help with that a lot, as well as removing the free point of Charm/Intimidate it gives you when you reach certain morality thresholds; though I've no idea how hard a thing it would be to do to make those tweaks.

Still, even with all that, it's an easy endorsement. Thanks for the mod!

Yeah, I also thought so. I changed the code for LE2 so that the required charm and intimidate points are also added toghether. Haven't tested it yet, though. If it works as intended, I will ask rondeeno to update their mod accordingly, or upload my own.

That actually sounds like the most elegant solution to the problem! Probably a lot easier than manually changing the value of every check in the game, for sure. Hope the test goes well, and that we get to see it here someday soon!

Actually, there are no unique checks for every special dialogue option. Instead, there are only a few global thresholds which are then assigned to every dialogue option and can be easily manipulated with the Trilogy Save Editor. The infamous Feros check for Jeong is only so hard because it's (potentially) so early in the game, and thresholds don't scale with player level -- which, now that I think about it, would also be a great idea. I might explore that. Though I suspect that it then, again, becomes way too easy.
