Initial Release
Overview: Hot Labs Restored aims to transform the underwhelming Hot Labs area in Noveria into a much better experience. The location was originally going to be a whole other section on Noveria called ICE70 but it was cut presumably due to lack of time. Although it was cut, the dialogue and some of the level were left inside the files. With these assets, I was able to create what was missing. Features: - A brand new level built from existing levels as well as a cut level - A new button has been added to the tram when its docked at central station, the Hot Labs button only appears when its docked at central station - New conversation, restored dialogue and cutscenes - Fully voiced audio and animated facial expressions, all built using unreal and ISACT - Updated mechanics to help the level fit right in the vanilla game
Changes to basegame content: - The Hot Labs elevator at Rift Station is no longer accessible - The tram is no longer useable at Rift Station if there is unfinished business there after dealing with the Hot Labs - A new destination has been added to the tram, you can go to the Hot Labs before or after Rift Station - The new purge mechanics from LE1DP has been ported to the new hot labs - Yaroslev Tartakovsky has been moved to the new Hot Labs - Cut parts of Mira's conversation has been restored
Known minor issues (fixed in the future): - The map is not the same area, this is due to the map needed to be done by hand in swf (will be done later) - Sometimes the squad can get stuck in place due to triggerstream changes, if this ever happens call them to you and they will come to you. - Some lines aren't fully emotive in the face (this is due to it having to be done manually, I did as many as I could but there is a ton for one person, I will update lines in future updates. - A few lines in Mira's conversation and the final cutscene for Female Shepard have no Audio. This is due to the audio never being recorded for these lines and the decision to use AI or not has not been made.
Disclaimer: This mod is almost the first of its kind. I tried my best to test everything I created but couldn't get every single case. If any bug pops up, please report on the bugs tab with an ME3Tweaks log.
