Randomly bumped into this, as I have been so invested with a new play after so many years. I have been dying to find a way to keep track of my journal and I cannot believe how nicely done and intuitive this is. Thank you for your effort and dedication. I am sure so many people found and are still finding this useful. I do have a question (that might probably be useful answered before I start LE2 and LE3 haha) I do not remember much about the last 2 games, but I was wondering if they made them more compact? Like I see there is no Galaxy tab for 2 and 3, nor an Assignment Tab for the last game. I am not asking if this is a complete checklist, because it seems to be. I was just wondering if the way the Excel is structured for the other two games is because Bioware changed the last 2 games a bit. ME1 seems massively bigger than ME2 and 3 looking at the Excel. So basically, you do not need to explore as much as you did in the first game... there is no difference between Main and Assignments. I'm just trying to understand if it's something Bioware switched up, or if it is just a design decision on your end to put everything together in one tab for the last 2 games. Makes sense? I hope it does.
Hey there! Happy to hear you are finding this checklist useful!!
There is no Galaxy tab for ME2 and ME3 because the game already keeps tabs on that! And there is no assignments tab for either because in the game they are in the same mission section and not separated like in ME1! And it has always been like this, they did not change it!
Hope this answered your questions, happy gaming! :)
I can't make a copy of the document because when I look at the drop down menu below "FIle", the option to make a copy is unable to be clicked on and whited out :(
Accidentally came across this, fab stuff! Thanks a lot! If I can make a suggestion/request? A 'minimal' version/option for replays - with other words, only content that impacts ME2 and 3. I copy/pasta'd a list I found on the web for ME1 once and just crossed stuff off as I went along.
in the sheets version I only have stuff from ME1. I know you said you are still working on finishing ME3 but i don't see anything from the second game as well. Using the sheets version with Pinnacle Station.
Hi! Thank you for telling me, I honestly completely forgot that version was a thing I'm so sorry! Updated the description and sticky post. They will be both updated this Sunday! Thank you for your patience! :)
I am in the process of getting my MELE fully modded and setup for a good strong playthrough. I haven't even started thinking of trying to find a good checklist website or something, and I come across this. You are a godsend. o7
Thank you! I am glad this is useful to you! Next week I will be posting an updated version with the ME3 missions and assignments, now that I am done with school.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Are you using an excel version in a language that is not English? If so, please follow the instructions in the description:
This excel file should be perfectly compatible with Excel 2010 and up.Not sure about older versions, as I haven’t been able to test it. If your version is installed in a language that is not English and your percentage stays always as 0%, please follow the instructions on the bottom of the description to make it work or download the mod file “Percentage Fix.rar” that contains a more visual explanation.
Remember to save your file before attempting any of the following steps. That way, if something goes wrong, you can exit without saving no problem.
Locations tab:
Select and unhide columns F to J and V to Y. This will reveal columns G and I, labeled “Checked” and columns W and X with two totals
Check anycheckbox from columns F or H to see the value from the next column change.
Select cell X4and change from the formula “TRUE” to “{ value from step 2 }”. For example, in a Spanish version of Excel “TRUE” becomes “VERDADERO”.
Select and hide columns G, I, W and X for a prettier view.
Assignments tab:
Select and unhidecolumns C to H.
Check any ofthe checkboxes in column C to reveal the value from the next column.
Select cell G3 and again change the formula from “TRUE” to “{ value from step 2 }”, just like in the Locations tab.
Select and hide columns D, F and G for a prettier view.
Aside from these indicated changes, please refrain fromchanging anything else in the document, because it can and probably will break it!

Again, many thanks for this!

The code in melecheck_code has the functions that make the navigation buttons work

I don't have much time right now, but I could do it in the near future!
Do you have a link for that list? :)
I used this one: https://www.rpgsite.net/feature/11112-mass-effect-choices-consequences-decisions-that-matter-across-the-trilogy

EDIT: Nevermind, I saw you're still working on it.
