    Does this replace the ALOT?

And can we get few comparison images.  Its hard to tell what has changed from just looking images

It seems that ALOT is mainly object textures, whereas LEUITM is mainly character and armour textures. There might be a few points where they affect the same textures, I'm not sure, but the majority of them are going to cover different things. Side by sides like in LEUITM 1's page would be pretty handy to have, I do agree.

I'm working on comparisons they take almost as much time as modding lol.

As for ALOT its pretty minimal overlap:

      Overlaps are:

      1) Samara Black and Red outfits (the ALOT version are using the UV mapping from OT though, so Samara's shoulders will be slightly off/scrambled when you follow the gold trim)

      2) Liara LOTSB armor: This one is subjective pick which one you like better. The diffuse is really good I think it's an old JeanLuc OT texture? I could be wrong though. It is missing an updated normal map, so LEUITM may look more "3D" and detailed when light hits it. when looking in photoshop the LEUITM version has finer Carbon fiber and fabric details, the ALOT version has nicer metals.

3)Miranda Face: Subjective difference both are very detailed. I have  bit bit more gritty detail in the diffuse and spec, so that's the main difference. (my preference for mass effect textures is gritty grunge film noir Sci-fi. If you like smoother fantasy looks I may not be your first choice.

      4) Miranda romance body texture - LEUITM version is quite a bit more detailed

      5) Garrus face textures: ALOT's are all from OT textures I submitted to them way back when. I have upgraded these in LEUITM, though some may prefer the old look if they are used to it. So it's ultimately subjective.

      6) Tali re-texture. ALOT's is from an older ME2 mod it potentially cleaner appearing but also looks flatter IMO and details are little black crushed in the fabric and normal map has not been re-textured. Mine is closer to vanilla and maintains the lighting and grit and add fine details to spec, normal and diffuse.

      7) Legion this is less detailed than LEUITM2's and is missing the default head re-texture and no normal maps were re-textured.

Obviously I prefer mine as they are made to my desire, but there are a few subjective choices there.

That's it. The rest have no overlaps.

    Thank you
    I love your works!

    Just finished Me1le with mello
I hope there are mello for me2le and me3le.

Playing me2 without mello feels like downgrade haha.

      Quick mention here:

ME¹LLO exists because the original ME1 had a dynamic lighting system in place, created by talented people, including the game's Cinematic Director, who understood lighting (a system that Mac Walters admittedly chose not to implement in MELE1 during production) and ME¹LLO,  simply put, re-enabled / restored it.

No such systems ever existed in ME2 & ME3, nor did they have the same Cinematic Director, instead opting for the basic sh*t we all see, courtesy of Parrish Ley (who is also in charge of it for ME4). That's why a modded MELE1 looks better than MELE 2&3 in terms of lighting, no matter how much you mod them.

And it will forever be this way, unless BioWare actually properly rework the games -- but BioWare should be more worried about not getting shut down by EA after they release The Veilguard, rather than worrying about LE lighting systems. :)

its a on a texture mod from a modder who mentions a lighting mod that restores the original lighting in me1, he's giving back info on why he's stating what he's saying. Maybe your just weird cause your upset someone is stating they are upset cause a game dev went the lazy cheap route for the later 2 games and had no originality when it came to visuals for when the games launched , he also ripped into their "remaster" which was only made to sell on next gen consoles. He's allowed to speak how he wants this website is based in the united states get over yourself he's legally allowed to say what he wants in this case and he's on topic unlike us right now no ?

There's a lighting restoration mod that brings the lighting, tone and shadows closer in line with the original, definitely recommend.

Amen to that. Started LE3 just to see how my char face will import. LE3 faces are wrong on so many levels.

CATACHR1SM, it will be a godsend if/when you'll release Part III.

      Yeah that would be incredible.

Regardless, what we got (for free mind you) is beyond amazing. Thanks!

If i install LEUITM2 fully (49 files) after ALOT,

can i also install  - Primitives - A Facial Appearance Overhaul / and - (LE1) Garrus and Turians - Face and Eyes Textures (GTFET)

    do you recommend them?
    Or should i skip them?

I also assume this mod works for three games?

You can, but there will be seams on human faces due to Primitives not covering scalps when LEUITM does so scalps and neck will be LEUITM and face will be primitives and due to their drastically different approaches in style, there will be an evident seam.

As for if I recommend them? Well, it depends on what you want. LEUITM and ALOT are designed to be vanilla friendly, meaning sticking to original art direction of the games. Primitives and the Turian face overhaul do not do this at all IMO.

In Primitives' case it adopts a more fantasy look ala Skyrim mods (super smooth skin with high fine details and a sort of blow out Instagram filter look). IMO it turns characters in fantasy fairy type appearances which I personally don't want in Mass Effect since I view it as sci-fi film noir Trilogy due to it heavy themes and rough combat - meaning I agree with the original art direction that it it be dark, moody yet sleek, but with the grit grunge and grime that comes with war (the complete opposite essentially).

If your goal is to change things up and see some new takes on things and some large switch ups in main character appearances that you because you are just sick of the way they have looked since 2007-2012 to now, and/or you desire a fantasy look in a sci-fi game, I do recommend Primitives for that purpose as the quality is good.

In the case of Turian mod I need to split it in 2:

First, the faces appear to be be a direct upscale or combo of upscales via something like ESRGAN algorithms which add details that indeed weren't there, but heavily deviate from original design. And when you know to look for upscale artifacting it's pretty evident.

So if your goal is to preserve the original look but with more fidelity I do not recommend the Turian faces. I looks good from afar, but then what is the point? Also, it should be noted the eye socket fix is covered in LEUITM aswell since this was essentially a developer end mistake on a masking texture that just needed correcting.

As for the Turian eyes, this is a cool idea IMO and for changing Mass Effect if you are bored of the original art direction along the lines of Primitives. These can be installed after the LEUITM Turian files and will work just fine and the mod author has provided lots of options. So I would recommend using the eye textures only from that mod, for that purpose.

All that said, these are just my opinions and I am relaying them because you asked, not trying to pick on other mods. So please take everything stated above with a grain of salt knowing this is a reflection of my taste and honest opinions of those 2 mods, realizing I am just 1 person.

Hello! Thank you for the mod. Love the texture work, especially on Sheploo. Quick question, is this compatible with the Liara Consistency Mod, specifically her LE3 face? Or should I forego using the Liara textures?

I played with both mods (along with tons of other ones) and didn't see any conflict.

No problems with Immersive Citizens in LE2 either.

Is it compatible with mods such as casual hubs, Cerberus and alliance consistency and no headgear for squadmates? Anyways, thank you for the mod, it looks great

Thank you so much for the mod! I really liked LEUITM for LE1 then I'm glad for LEUITM2. :D

However, I'd like to know what textures are used in Garrus' images, please? I assume they're all LEStyleLEUITM2 but I'm not sure.

Question. And if for personal use, with the help of mass effect modder, repackage available here textures of the female face for MELE3 they will work?

Hi, maybe a bit of a dumb question but I was wondering if I could install this after ALOT and its ISL component to override any overlaps with the ones in this mod, or will ALOT take priority regardless of the installation order

When it comes to textures, installation order does matter. Do ALOT, ISL, then LEUITM. If there are any other specific texture mods (for example I have one for Garrus and one for eyes specifically) then do those after LEUITM. First installed gets overwritten by anything after it.
