Had to upload a couple of times again to bypass server error since there was no news from nexus support. Seems to be working now. Just needs files to be scanned.
I could look into that sure, not sure if the make up mask was the same but i'll try to make it for le1 as well Edit: I made it for LE1 as well. You can check it out.
1. I do not know if I do something wrong neither it is caused by HDR and/or Reshade Shaders. The middle of the lip is glowing in darker scenes and looks strange so I was thankful that you provide a file of the original. I downloaded LE3 file.
2. Unfortunately this does not work. Please see system messge below
File C:/Users/xxxx/Downloads/PC/Games/MELE/me3/face/original lips middle.mem is not a MEM mod valid for this game.
Do you have any idea for solving issue one or issue two?
Oh alright, let me recheck the file, i'll upload the original file after recreating it again sorry. Edit: That was the original file for LE2 that's why. There were some issues when i first uploaded the file with the server, had to upload it couple of times get through that, so i must have uploaded the wrong one during that. I uploaded the right version now so you can uninstall it properly. I'll look into the fix for lips for LE3 again to see what could cause that. Thank you for telling me.
Could you share a screenshot of the issue so that i could see how it looks like in the game?
Night now I guess :) Also if there is a way to check it without the reshade could you possible do that as well ? I have a feeling that might be the real issue for the glowing
First of all: I am playing games on PC since a bit more than one year (before playing on PS4 + XBox). Means I am not really experienced in many things, learning constantly by try and error principle. I do not know how to attach images at this message via the regarding item. Therefore I don't want to compromise your mod by uploading the images at your mod site (many users can see and issues probably caused by my faults) I will do it if you agree to this only .
Second results: The "original file" works now. It is only a slight difference between modded and unmodded lips. Oddly enough the modded lips are glowing more than the not modded lips.
Technical Details: Monitor: TV SONY KD65ZD9 - HDR 4K, 65" PC: NVIDIA GeForce 2080TI, Intel(R)i9Core(TM)[email protected], 31.91GB RAM, 3840x2160, 60HZ
I am left perplexed what to do. But this is not a major issue and there are worth things. I have played Mass Effect Trilogy multiple times since released and I will continue to have fun.
If you are interessed in the images further, I will upload them as noticed.
Thank you for your time and patience!
p.s. English is not my native language - I do my best :-)
You can upload it to https://imgur.com/ then share that link in your reply here. So it glows on the original version of the game as well ? But mine makes it glow a bit more ? My mod makes it so that middle parts show the colors just as the upper and lower parts. So if it is already glowing on its own, then it makes sense this makes it glow more. But then the original glowing issue might be related to something else. Have you changed anything using the trilogy save editor or do you have any other mod that you use that could affect this ? PS: Your English is fine btw, it's not my native language either, so don't worry ;)

As you hve noticed it could be caused by trilogy save editor, below I have listed what I have done.
I was working with headmorph mod of vandri "Mass Effect 3 Female Multi-Race Head Morphs" - Asian file ME3 I have made adjustments for my personal taste using the trilogy save editor. I cannot remember exactly the original values, therefore it takes roundabout 12 hours until she looks like now. I have changed Offset Bones, Scalar values, vectors and textures. I could assuming that the glowing of the middle lips may be caused by the scalar values of the lips ( I do not understand all shortcuts deeply)?
Here they are HED_Addn_Spec_Lips_Scalar = 0.300 HED_Addn_SPwr_Lips_Scalar = 7.000 (in the meantime decreased to 1.000 -> glowing remains) HED_Lips_Tint_Scalar = 0.100
In addition I have changed scalar vectors for blush, eyeshadow and brow tint, but I guess these are not the root cause.
As you have brought the idea up, perhaps is the best to reset the spec lips scalar vectors to zero? Do you have experience with the lip scalar vectors. Which could may be the best values?
Thank you again for your kindly manner!
Edit: I have set the scalar spec and sPwr lips to zero. A little glow remains (but my eyes could lie, if you are starring at the same point for a longer time brain and eye could play pranks). In addition the lightning conditions at ME are very difficult. Changing your point of view for milimeters and the lightning will change. I have changed now the lipcolor from pink to red and increase the Lip tints scalar value from 0.100 to 0.300.
After that I have installed your mod again and it looks better. The lower lip has a shine more or less depending on lightning conditions and point of view. I guess this come from light reflections.
Is there any other scalar vector where I can reduce the light reflection?
I will start new game + now and I will keep an eye on it. Most the glow was disturbing at the "Priority Earth". In the dark scenes I can't see the lips only glowing (by the way the npcs have had the same glow effect).
However I like to thank you very much for your help and kindness

Is the photo from original version or my modded version, it doesn't look too much on the pic I think. Looks a bit like a light issue. HED_Lips_Tint_Scalar just makes the color more darker, mine is at 1.3 so that can't be the issue. I don't have a lot of experience with the other two though. Could be HED_Addn_Spec_Lips_Scalar this one perhaps, might be safe to just make both of those zero and trying again to clear them I think.
I'm glad you sorted it out, not sure about other stuff to reduce light reflection tbh. If other npcs have it then it's definitely game affect since my mod only affects Shepard's face. You're welcome, have a nice day, stay healthy as well :)
I am on my second run for ME3 and I figuered out now randomly from what the glowing of the middle lips come from. I have enabled Dynamic Shadows in the graphic menu (at the first run it was disabled) eleminating the glowing completely. Seems that if the dynamic shadows are disabled, things which have a natural shadow are lightend up.

I need your help, please.

I have just finished ME3 (next: NG+ :-)). I will have a look at a save. Coming back soon with a suitable screenshot.
Thanks a lot so far!
Edit: Combing back tomorrow
Have a nice evening or day (timezone?)

I have uninstalled Reshade and delete all ini's of the the reshade mod (LEGENDARY LIGHT AND COLOURS. A cinematic ReShade overhaul at Mass Effect Legendary Edition Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com). It does not help, the glowing effect remains. If it make sense, find below my technical surrounding.

I'll endorse it as soon as it lets me :D
ETA: Upload issue seems to be hitting a few mods, so looks like the Nexus is just bugging out. Hopefully it's fixed soon. :)
