Hey mate, regarding the new Version 1.1.0; compatibility with "Nearly Unrestricted Weapons" (NUW) mod, it's not working. So I checked the patch (nuw -BIOGame.ini), and it's empty...
The standard version of the file would conflict with NUW (to have similar though lesser effect) so it's swapped for a blank version to not do so. I have both NUW and v1.1.0 applied and working. You can try uninstalling your mods and after reapplying NUW adding the others back one at a time to confirm which one blocks it.
Can I just say I love you right now because... I love you right now! I wanted the scanning thing so bad to install with a mod manager and here it is, working PERFECTLY!! After at least more than 30 playthroughs over the years, I am soooo over fleeing reapers and without EGM for LE, there was no option to not have Reapers during scanning. You rock!! You'll draw your sidearm when you disembark the shuttle at Freedom's Progress, and the M-8 Avenger will be among the weapons you can select instead. Alternate weapons and weapons upgrades can be acquired as usual. What's altered is that the game's list of weapons types the player character's class may use has been added to if it didn't already include the assault rifle type.
In Mod Manager you can multipack archives by adding them in the deployment panel. For small mods this means one download instead of two without really any side effects.
