i love the mod, the armor looks so goood! but i litterally cannot remove the helmet. doesnt matter what mod i try. and if i use the expended armory mod the armor turns to grey again.
Can you maybe help out with that ? what did you use ?
Just a heads up (because I know a few people who aren't aware of this), but Expanded Armory doesn't remove the helmet from the blood dragon armour in the type slot. It ADDS a helmet-less version of the blood dragon armour as a seperate piece in the chest slot. So maybe try looking there. If that still doesn't work, always make sure textures are installed last.
Does anyone know of a mod that just removes the red dragon off of the armor? I've searched and searched but I can't find one for either LE2 or LE3 and I thought it would've been an obvious and easy-to-make mod. I tried pulling up the texture files in gimp myself but all I see are grey and black boxes.
Is this mod still supported. I've been trying to install it for the past half hour using ME Modder and every single time it says "Installation failed." I have never had a problem using MEM before, but I just updated it to the latest version. Now, you have to click on Texture Modding, which I did under the ME3 column. And yes, I made sure to download the ME3 version.
You are using v523, yes? You only get that error if you didn't generate a texture tree before installing texture mods. This will be annoying if you didn't make a backup of your game, but here's what you have to do: 1) Revert your game back to an unmodded vanilla state (no content or texture mods installed) 2) In MEM, under Textures Utilites > Delete Textures Scan File. If there's nothing, then continue. 3) Open Textures Manager to scan your game 4) Now go back to Mods Manager > Mods Installer and install your textures If you have any ME3tweaks content mods, remember to install those before any texture mods.
hi i bought the blood dragon armor on omega but the blood dragon helmet is missing in the armor locker could more modular armor parts have something to do with that?
I'm assuming the no helmet option means you're using the Expanded Shepard Armoury (ME2LE). Are you also using default maleshep/Sheploo? Because I have heard that there are problems with the textures around his neck, in which the tinting of the head doesn't match the body. Install the Sheploo Appearance Consistency Project and that should be fixed. Hope it helps.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! I had a mod like this for my original me2 playthrough and was heartbroken to not be able to find it in me3. Now you've given it to me for both le2 & le3! thank you so very much.
I wish this mod fixed the no glow on the female visor. I wish anyone would make a mod like that at this point. It's been 3 months now, and it's still not been patched, and no matter how many times I make bug reports, I don't think anyone is ever reading them. Mods are the only hope we'll ever have of getting this bug fixed.
Update 07/22/21: I've got good news and bad news for ya. Good news is that there's now a file that fixes the missing visor glow texture for femshep. Bad news is that for some reason, the visor texture is tied to a shoulder plate (I don't know why, it's weird), so the only way I could get the visor to glow is by also giving a part of the shoulder plate an emissive. If this doesn't bother you, then you can download the file under the miscellaneous section. Here's an image of how it looks in-game for reference:

But everytime it says it failed.
