i havent played ME3 in awhile and i wanna playghtrough them again with a soldier (only really tried soldier in ME1 and 2) since there are alot of nice guns in ME3 and im curious if the weapon version of this is a match for the cerberus weapon armor set or the hahne kader armor set in all stats? (weapon damage and shields primarily)
My new mod may be useful for you. N7 Defender Armor Parts (LE3). With IVAP for LE3 you'll be able to mix and match armor pieces to get the stats more to your liking.
Awesome mod as always! Just one question, how were you able to change the lights on the armor to red as seen on the female generic version? I always found it strange to have red lights for the helmet and blue lights for the armor, and I always wanted to change that.
Unfortunately, I don't have a clue. I did nothing that should have changed that. I'm just using the models provided by the game and supplying custom 'GameEffects' for the stats and that's a bit of a pita to do. I'll see if I can track it down.
I'm with you though, I use a mod that provides the N7 Defender armor in LE2 and had the same issue with the blue light.
I know how to use models and textures created by others, but haven't learned how to make or customize them myself.
Restoring from a backup it looks to me the default lights are red for FemShep, and checking some images on the internet seems to confirm it.
Anyhoo, you may be interested in a new mod that'll solve part of the problem: N7 Defender Armor Parts (LE3). I make the armor available as a torso and you can use whatever helmet you want to use and customize the lights. For male Shepard it's close to white. Cannot change the lights on the torso though. :(
