Do you know of any issues with this mod and the Citadel DLC, in particular the casino mission?  I can't seem to get my squadmate (Javik) to distract a guard.

      Cant reproduce.
Provide a Mod Manager Diagnostic log.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong for LE3. Installed it before Expanded Galaxy mod, and then selected the Omni-Key compatibility option while installing Expanded Galaxy mod.

The new binding options show up. However, when I exit out of options, my selections do not save and revert back to the default settings.

I'm gonna need the link to your mod manager log & game diagnostic to see what the issue is, because on my end it works flawlessly with EGM.

Not sure if troubleshooting my situation would be worth doing as I've since installed textures. In any case, here is my log.  After *many* attempts, I was finally able to make the Sprint selection stick. But then when I try to update something else like the Command HUD button, my setting doesn't save.

Open Mod Manager, press "Manage Target", select Mass Effect 3 from the dropdown, press "Open in Explorer" at the bottom of the window and navigate to ...\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\BioGame\DLC\DLC_MOD_EGM\CookedPCConsole Then download the two files in this link and put them in that folder, replacing the original files. You can still do this regardless of texture modding, as this does not touch files containing textures.

This should temporarily address the issue, which is that due to Omni-Key's 1.3 update, EGM has to update the way it modifies the keybinds menu.

Alternatively, you can scroll down to the duplicated version of the keybinds and make your changes there, which will actually stick.

Dude you're awesome! Didn't expect this level of responsiveness, especially for an old mod. Thank you so much!! Your fix worked.

Make sure to update EGM to 1.0.4 for future reinstalls, the fix has just been uploaded.

Looking at the input file, I suppose it not possible to separate roll and cover. Since they both under Action. A bit of a bummer.

Though storm+strafe is side roll. A bit inconsistent.

Drag the .xml file named Default_... onto Mod Manager.

How do you go about decompiling a bin file? There is another mod I am trying to edit, but I am not having a lot of luck figuring out how to decompile it.
Never mind. It's right there under tools in the ME3 mod manager.

What button lay out do you use? No matter how hard I try, cover never feels right.

Is there any way to make the Esc key (menu) remappable in the keybinds, too? Possibly move it to another key by default. Or add additional mappings for menu confirm/cancel?

I got it to work on ME2, but for some reason, I am not seeing it working on ME3. Is there anything special to do besides using the mass effect mod manager?

Edit: Oh, I think I see what I did wrong. Just saw the note about installing omni first before expanded galaxy. I did reverse as I had found this mod last. Thanks!

Hey, new to modding LE 1 and I'd be grateful if someone could clarify my understanding after reading the compatibility notes for the Omni-Key Separator mod.

It looks like 1.2 isn't directly compatible with any other mod that directly edits the coalesced_INT.bin file.
M3 shows I have three other mods listed that seem to contain patch files that M3 uses to edit the vanilla version of this file:

The three mods I have are:

Since these mods do not directly edit this file, is it safe to use the mod with them, and then merge using M3's coalesced Merge Editor tool?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

The mod is compatible with all 3 listed. They all use the config merge system as well.
The warning is there because this was one of the first mods to utilize the new system and it would take time for other mods to adapt their changes to the new feature. Now that the feature is half a year old now, im removing the warning from the description.

Thanks! I forgot to update the reply with my experience. Since posting the comment, I'm happy to report the mod works fine with this, and all the other mods I could use (I didn't use any mods that directly replaced coalesced files). Also, I did NOT need to merge using M3's merge editor tool - the mod can simply be installed normally and m3 will automatically handle any required merges.

Thanks again - excellent, must have mod for all three games!
