I lose a lot of renown for recruiting from any town, which is a pretty severe bug considering diplomacy is a big chunk of the game. High leveled deserter mobs are every where and the decent gear you start with fails to work as a duct tape fix while simultaneously ruining the charm of starting from humble beginnings.
Can anyone help me? When I tried to run the module, it keeps on giving me this issue "unable to open texture file Texture\DK_armour_charger.dds" I'm pretty sure that it's not just that one texture file that won't open. Anyone knows what's happening? And how to fix it?
1) I have 528 renown, 48 honor and my relationship rating with a faction was +28 until I stopped being a mercenary and with the leader +18. I wanted to join the faction (when I was still a merc) but couldn't swear an oath (it was not an option in the dialogue menu). Reports said I was a vassal (actually just a merc) but when I wanted to ask a vassal to marry his daughter, he says i'm not a vassal of the faction and theirfore I can't marry his daughter. What's the problem?? I never had this problem before.
2) My character normally has 10 surgery, now 0 and at learning limit, my troops already die so easely. Same with trainer btw, learning limit is 6 but with the book you can get it to 7.
Then last but not least: I played prophesy of pendor a lot, hiring adventurers and other good mercenaries but the troops I recruit from the villages in this mod die like cattle. The mercenaries I see in the towns aren't very good either. Trained 50 sarranid cataphracs and some other units (total of +-100), I fight 2 times against a warband of 40 troops and 30 catapracts were dead. Due to the inability to use my surgery skill of course but still, like 25 would be unconscious if surgery was available.
I really hope that the next patch fixes these problems, atleast 1 and 2. Or maybe somebody knows what to do?
During seiges of any structure, if you are knocked unconscious the death cam refuses to activate, and the game pretends you are still alive. It will NOT allow you to press tab or jump key to activate death cam, or most importantly, LEAVE the combat and start over. Is this a glitch, or an optional function of the Native Expansion?
Love the mod and i only have one complaint. It seems like 90% of the missions i ever get from village elders are the one where some girl eloped and i have to go get her. they get old and are boring. any way to fix this?
