    Just did a recompile of this to add (or remove) the backgound elements PGI added to the HUD items with the lastest update...why they love adding all this extra s#*! to our screens i have no idea...PGI a HUD should give the Maxium info with the lest Cluter possible, please stop cluttering up the screen with un need shitty GFX elements.....

    Thank you very much for removing that useless crap blocking my cockpit. I have a radio, why do I need to be blinded when somebody talks?

    Can you add this to the Steam Workshop so I can add it to my mod collection?

    I'd honestly love to have all in-game dialog removed completely.  Her accent is annoying and sometimes they just dont even pronounce things correctly like "OpsFor" ....no its "OpFor" no S in it, a 5 second Google search could have told them how to pronounce it but, that's asking too much from PGI.

    A must have mod. I couldn't play MW5 with those arcadey and irritating portraits and texts popping up all the time anymore, even english not being my first language, and sometimes not understanding one or two things.
    And getting rid of the ugliness behind and around HUD elements is priceless.

    Thankyou. The face and the words were so annoying. They do get in the way. It's much nicer to just hear the comms while I have a clean hud to check the battlefield. 
    Edit: ok this works. Actually more realistic just hearing the audio. Endorsed.

    heh, funny that complaint about the visual clutter when almost every single complaint concerning the HUD is how barebones it is, largely in *visual appeal* (not to mention many HUD mods end up adding more visual eyecandy as well). While I do heartily agree that it needs a lot more functionality (i.e. proper numbering of compass degrees), the new update brought a pretty cool new HUD design.

      Im not to much of a fan of the new hud TBH, the Torso twist being in the MM on the pointer now forces me to glace down to check it (it was in the line of sight under the reticle before) the pop out map id now in the middle of screen blocking your view (not great if you hit it during a battle) and the extra background checker board clutter i removed was worthless (it's not even on the HUD in the PS4/5 version so why we get that crap on the PC is somewhat confusing)

      WTF PGI can not move things like the Map/paperdoll/loadout into 3d models of monitors in each of the Mech cockpit is beyond me (or in this case beyond them?)  this new hud is still way way way below the level of navida1's 3d Hud mod from the EGS Alpha back in 2020...dam shame it's not working and he doesn't have time to remake it atm...

      Late reply ,but you do realize the massive amount of work it would take to remodel EVERY SINGLE cockpit to have physical monitors, that will stay in view even at low FOV, AND reprogram the HUD elements to project to them? There's a reason that after more than 2 years, modders still have not accomplished it.

    I have both the audio and text turned off (with the help of this mod)... 

    ... but it would nice to have a version where only your lancemate's acknowledgements are heard.  For example, ordering your team to target a mech, and they reply with a simple "Copy that" or similar (but none of the other cheezy acknowledgements).   That way, at least I have an audio confirmation that my command went through.

    Nice work man! It was really beginning to piss me off! In the middle of battle this massive box obscures my shot. I actually don't mind the audio and the only downside is i don't get to see my loot until the end. Why they didn't put the box at the completely empty bottom of the screen in the first place is beyond me! Either way, better to not have it all than in the way. Nice one!

    So question, is there any way to make Ryana just shut up (audio) ?
    "just walk up to the treasure" "that tank is marked for destruction commander" etc etc.
    t's fine for the hand made missions.
    But hot damn I'm sick of her talking in every random mission as well.

      Id guess you could just insert silent audio tracks into her dialog, i'll try and take a look, in fact a "Clear Comms" mod to get them all to STFU would be a good idea....& "just walk up to the treasure" i spat coffee all over my keyboard first time i heard that "treasure" lol "arrghh thats me Booty"

      See. now I kinda feel silly, just looked at the audio options, turned voice to 0, along with this mod that removes the things that need to go. *it does mute all voice acting so story missions might feel off, but hey.

    I have trouble *not* reading text since young (Movie sub, game sub etc) and this mod definitely makes me more focused on pew pew instead of reading pop up text that says "ENEMY MECH DEFEATED"

      I don't mind a cluttered HUD, but everything on the HUD needs to serve a informative purpose. ALL the NPC dialogue crap needed to be taken off from the HUD. Glad this mod exists. Now if we could just get all the comms chatter clutter to be silenced, MW5 would be even closer to being good. Always hearing the OPFOR makes zero sense to me and none of the things that unwanted-Karen says is ever relevant to the current situation...ever.  Why would we be hearing enemy comms? Does every military force blast their comms to the enemy? Also, the only time I want to hear my lance is when they recognize my command, or when they secure a kill and if a kill is going crit. Only thing I want to be hearing is mech on mech action.
