WARNING! DO NOT attempt this unless you know what you are doing! It is always a good idea to make a backup of your current json file before doing any edits in case you make a mistake and lose your paint schemes.

If you look at your CustomSkins.json FILE and the one you downloaded for this mod you can easily open up the json file(java file) in a text editor like Notepad++ and copy the paint schemes  from this mod, then paste them into your CustomSkins.json FILE and it works just fine. Keep in mind that the one  the current MW5 installation is using is for the currently installed version.

Again, use caution when copying the entries from this json file and pasting them into yours. If you mess it up you may lose all the custom schemes. Be sure to study the syntax and structure of the entries before copying and pasting.

    Hope this helps.

Looks like this mod is no longer functional, is there any chance for an update?

Does this include a scheme for the Knights of the Inner Sphere?

I noticed that amongst all the clan paint schemes, Clan Ghost Bear was overlooked. I have created a few.

Clan Ghost Bear Kappa Galaxy           Pattern: Digital                Primary: F9F0C3    Secondary: 8b8b8b    Tertiary: 536882
Clan Ghost Bear Omicron Galaxy        Pattern: Mountainline    Primary: 9DACbb    Secondary: 678CDF    Tertiary: 002C60
Clan Ghost Bear Omicron Galaxy 2     Pattern: Mountainline    Primary: 9DACbb    Secondary: 002C60    Tertiary: 678CDF
Clan Ghost Bear Zeta Galaxy               Pattern: Woodland         Primary: 536184    Secondary: FFFFFF    Tertiary: 9DACCb
Clan Ghost Bear Ourse Keshik             Pattern: Vagabond         Primary: 536882    Secondary: 536882    Tertiary: 2b3644

I also created a third clan wolf beta color scheme for mechs that switch up the mountainline color pattern such as the victor

    Pattern:     Primary: BFA264    Secondary: 514B4B    Tertiary: BFA264

Thanks so much for this! These are great! I love the level of detail you did on the Clan Galaxies! Did I miss Nova Cat?

My apologies if I missed the Nova Cats in the list. Thanks so much for providing all of these awesome extra camo schemes!

    Have a request...

Is there an easy to break this up into specific sets? Such as Clan, IS House Units, Merc Units, Real World Units

I should be able to chop them up from the different sections from the file, I might do that if I update it again with more patterns.

This is awesome thank you, I wish there was a way to make the NPCs in game use these lol
Like if various groups could be "assigned" a paint scheme.

I'm not sure, I haven't delved into creating mods for MW5 yet. Been too busy playing it, however I'm sure this is possible.
