Thanks for great mods! Would it be possible to add an optional cost to using the repair bays during missions? I genuinely love the mod, and I feel that the option to repair and restock during missions being left out of the base game is a massive oversight by the devs, but I feel just a tiny bit cheesy when I use the repair bays...
For future reference, this mod seems to cause issues with Treasure Hunting. Specifically, crates will refuse to spawn when this mod is enabled. I've had the issue personally, and others have had the issues at the links below:
This was an issue on an older version of the mod that's been fixed by not overriding the mission director anymore, iirc. Your download history doesn't show that you've downloaded this mod so I can't say what version you had. Please try the pinnned troubleshooting comment. I also won't discredit the possibility that certain garrisons were updated and need to be updated in this mod to have chest spawn locations properly added but I can't remember if that's how spawn locations where determined or not.
Still works with version 1.1.361, thx a lot, this mod can really save your mission. Only problem is that your lancemates like to shot the generators, but luckily the generators can be set to indestructible in options.
You might have a conflict with another mod. I have a pretty big mod list including all then "Yet Another" and "Von-whatever" and a bunch of other stuff and it works great. Try to move this mod to the top or bottom of your load order and see if it acts differently.
while i dont think its the same issue (and probably not a fault of the mod), but i ran through while attempting to use the repair bay at like 100km/h. i got the repair trigger to start but when it started i was already outside of the repair bay so i just shutdown and the repair sequence didn't trigger. upon manual powering up i could no longer move around, only torso twist.
switched to a different mech and was still able to repair with that mech, the 'bugged' mech still couldn't move after the successful repair.
TL;DR: stop or greatly slow down before attempting to use repair bay, otherwise it might break mech.
Just wanted to back up what CountSaerix said. It has happened to me more than once, and every time my momentum took me out of the repair bay. Just make sure you come to a dead stop inside before triggering the repair bay. Have never had it happen when I make sure I'm stopped first.
Look like the Stronghold Defense mission from Coyotes Mission Pack has a small issue if you set the repair bays to activate generator first because said generator ain't spawn with the bay in that mission. It not that big of a deal to make repair bays activate without a generator through mod options. Figured I should post it here in case anyone else wondering why it won't work in that mission.
Still working on the current version of the game (1.1.361, DLC 6). Running 27 mods including all the YAMLs + clan invasion, but haven't purchased DLC 5 or 6. Been running a campaign for around 3000 days doing various missions and the bays have spawned consistently and worked with no issues.
Hey Bobbert I know you are done modding for this game, but would it be possible to release the code for this mod? I don't know how to mod yet but I want to learn and I really like your repair bays mod.
Not sure if this is a issue affecting anyone else is experiencing. In COOP, my lancemates will use the repair bay and it will repair everyone but the host. If the host uses the repair bay, everyone gets repaired. Everyone has repair entire lance enabled in settings. Not entirely sure what the issue is.
Yup, the host needs to go into the repair bay to repair everyone. When I was doing coop I monitored my friends damage and beelined it to the repair bay when he got into trouble.
