Going to be honest. The new audio is terrible. The people speaking cut out at many points creating a jolting halting speech missing syllables that sounds far worse than the original.
The above sentence in the mod would sound something like this:
Goi_g to be honest. The ne_ aud_o is terrible. The peopl_ speak_ng cut o_t at many points cre__ing a jo_ting halting sp__ch missing syll_bles that sounds fa_ worse than the orig_nal
I think adding the new filter tanked the quality. I would suggest removing the filter you added as right now the original is actually superior to the mod.
I agree with this. Loved the version where it was just clear voices with no effects at all. This replaces one annoying effect for one that is arguably worse.
The new Version sounds really nice, However for some reason it interferes with Betty mods so if I put this mode to be loaded before betty it won's take place but when I put it behind betty, betty does not work but Radio mod does. Load order manager does not detect any Overrides however
Checked on Discord with Timberwulf. Says its something about it sharing the same soundbank. Hopefully he'll figure out a way and update it. Default Betty isn't bad, though i'll miss using the MW4 betty. Don't know why PGI thought it was a good idea to give enemy pilots an evil-sounding warbled voice in the comms. I get its supposed to identify that its an enemy talking, but did they really need to considering the comms-box always pops-up and you can tell who is talking? Hell, their background portrait is red when it's an enemy talking.
Thanks for checking and reporting back! It would be great to be able to use MW2 Betty Ultimate with this (or even one of the other Betty mods like his MW4 one) if it ends up being possible to make them compatible. Both offer big improvements.
Is it possible to have a version of this mod without the radio filter? In an older version this was standard and it was absolutely beautiful to hear the in-game voices clear as day.
I agree - I love the effort that has gone into this mod, but like you I much preferred the first version where the voices were clear and as recorded (no filters at all). Would it be possible to get an alternative version of the mod without any filters?
Will this work fine with DLC 4? The "Evil" distortion is even more noticable with the new content since one mission you could be allied with a mercenary outfit, then the next mission you're against them and then they suddenly go from sounding like regular coolbros happy to help to doctor evil talking through the devils asshole
I don't know about you guys but I am not loving the new MW4 style. I downloaded this mod in the past because it gets rid of the garbled voices and instead gives clear sounding voices. NOW, it's back to garbled voice but it's MW4 style and volume is low. IT IS NOW EVEN WORST THAN VANILLA GARBLED VOICES. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Can't we just have clear sounding voices again?
Seems like this mod doesn't work with the MWO Betty mod. Or any BB mods for that matter. However, if anyone is looking for a BB mod, check Timberwulf's MW4 betty mod. NoNastyRadio is already built into it. Minor downside, dialogue is a bit quiet.
Edit: Nevermind, just read some previous post. To make NoNastyRadio work with BB mods, just download the older version (very first one in the archive list).

Update: I am using MW3 Betty from Steam Workshop

Worked with MW3 Betty for me
Are there any plans to convert the audio for Rise of Rasalhague as well?
Let us know!
Must have mod!
