I struggled to understand why this didn't work for me until I read the description for the 3rd time. So this only changes "SS Rank" things from other mods and doesn't affect base-game contents? Got it. I thought this changed the shine effect on maxed S-ranks to a rainbow. Not really a mod for me, then.
