not sure how late of a reply this is but what you need to do is you need to download this, and then use the dat tool it comes with to unpack both pl1010.dat and pl1010.dtt (you drag and drop them onto the exe) and then when you unpack both of them you'll see pl1010.wta in pl1010_dat and you'll see pl1010.wtp in pl1010_dat, then you put both pl1010.wta and wtp in the same folder and then select both of them and drag and drop ontop of the wta_wtp_tool.exe and then it'll create a folder with the textures, then what you do is you open the folder, and it'll show .dds files, to open those i'd recommend using paint.net, if you do not have paint.net here: https://www.getpaint.net/. now open the dds file and then you'll see steve, now what you do to change it to your skin is to first grab your skin, rescale it to 800x800 (its so mgr doesnt make it pixelated) then save it as the dds file what steve was, then just repack it the same way you unpacked it and it should work
also sorry if this is a mess, i suck ass at tutorials
Excuse me, could you explain how to repack the folder? I already edited the textures with paint.net but i don't really understand how to repack it or what to do next. Thanks.
so sorry for the late reply, you use a program called "Kwasior Tools" and you just drag and drop the folder which has your textures (rename it to pl1010_wtp) and then yeah, drag and drop and it'll generate the wta and wtp for the files, then you pack the wta into the .dat and wtp in the .dtt
you extract it in the Metal Gear Rising Directory, it replaces main custom body. nvm im stupid and put the pl files in GameData not pl, so uh drag n drop the pl files into it, also i accidentally put one of other mods into said folder, woops, this was made real quick, like 30 minutes
