Please read my steps first before following along. I also used VirusTotal and Malwarebytes to scan these files which all came up clean (as of 26/12/2022)
I downloaded the following links - as recommended by the mod creator (See the description tab). Read carefully about what you are installing onto your computer as there were two check boxes for Bing
The latest Visual C++ Redistributables. BOTH x86 AND x64!
1- You MUST download the 'Cheat Menu Mod' Version 0.16 (as of 26/12/2022). You have two locations to choose from Nexus Mods 'Files' section of this mod listing, In my case, it was the second option down. There should be only 3 files in the .rar file (CheatMenu.ini , dinput8.dll , and mgrCheat.asi)
2- You need to download Ultimate ASI Loader from Github > Click on 'Code' which is a green button on the page then select 'Download ZIP'. This is the link I used as of 26/12/2022 https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader
3- Go to your Steam Library > Right-click on METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE > Manage > Browse local files, Create a "scripts" folder in the game's main directory folder (The one with METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE.exe in it)
4- Go to your Downloads folder > Open up 'Ultimate-ASI-Loader-master' zip Archive file > Ultimate-ASI-Loader-master. (Now you should see 17 objects). Now, Extract the Ultimate ASI Loader's files TWICE. FIRST into the game's main directory folder (The one with METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE.exe in it) AND SECOND inside the "scripts" folder that you've made before.
5- Go to your Downloads folder > Open up the 'Cheat Menu'.rar. Extract the 'Cheat Menu Mod' files TWICE. FIRST into the game's main directory folder (The one with METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE.exe in it) AND SECOND inside the "scripts" folder that you've made before.
6- Launch METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE
STEPS 7,8, AND 9 ARE FOR KEYBOARDS WITHOUT THE 'INSERT' KEY AVAILABLE...
7- Now click off the game (Control + Alt + Delete, then select the Task Manager if you need to)
8 - Go to your computer settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard > Enable 'Use the On-screen keyboard'. OR Map the 'Insert' key to a button on your controller using Steam. Google will go more in-depth on that process and how to remap buttons.
9 - Click back into the METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE game, now click on the 'Insert' button on the right of the virtual keyboard to bring up the Cheat Menu. OR use your mapped 'Insert' button on Controller.
! YOU CAN GET S RANK AND 'NO DAMAGE' ACHIEVEMENTS USING THIS MOD !

if you downloaded cheat menu and there's scripts folder, dinput8.dll, you just need to move them into game folder (where's .exe located) i'm pretty sure that you wrote everything right, but some might be wrong if dinput8.dll exist, you don't need to download Ultimate-ASI-Loader, if it doesn't exist, you need to
no it isnt antiviruses just dont like the code in it i got a Gen:Variant Fragtor (trojan) through my antivirus (BitDefender) and newer versions work completelyfine
I wish it won't tho, I can add anti-RMM system just for fun and hint the user if the mod menu wasn't installed properly I'd rather use mod loader instead of RMM so it won't mess up
Hi, this mod is very nice! I have a problem since installing it, my game won't save any progress (even when the checkpoint icon appears). When I remove the mod completely, it saves normally. Maybe something to do with the way the combat score cheats work?
Hi Frouk3, I figured out that it was Windows controlled folder access which was blocking the game's .exe from writing to the save file when using this mod. Now everything is working fine.
Desktop freezing only when I load the most recent version of this mod. All other versions work. I isolated which script was causing the issue and it was this mod.

Any chance of an 'Infinite/Freeze VR-Time' mod?
There is one for Cheat Engine, but I play a lot of multiplayer games. Too risky to have it installed.
